International Bracket Winner Odds

TEAM ODDS
Chinese Taipei (Asia-Pacific) -300
Tokyo (Japan) +325
Aruba (Caribbean) +450

Chinese Taipei (-300) Chinese Taipei has a 75% implied probability to win the international side of the LLWS, which positions them well ahead of Tokyo (+325) and Venezuela (+400).

Aruba (+450) will attempt to pull the upset in an elimination game against Tokyo, but that is unlikely to go very well. Tokyo is heavily favored, so Aruba’s 18.2% implied chance to win should probably be lower. I don’t see them as a serious contender!

United States Bracket Winner Odds

TEAM ODDS
Connecticut (Metro) +120
South Carolina (Southeast) +175
Nevada (Mountain) +250
South Dakota (Midwest) +300

Connecticut (+120) has taken over as the betting favorite to win the United States bracket! In a stunning shift toward the team from the Metro region, Connecticut currently has a 45.5% implied probability after entering the tournament as a +1400 underdog.

At +1400, Connecticut had just a 6.7% implied chance to win the US bracket at the best baseball betting sites. Now, oddsmakers have them in the top spot, just an edge ahead of South Carolina at +175, or a 36.4% chance. South Carolina entered at +200, so they remain one of the favorites.

Surprisingly, pre-tournament favorite Hawaii was bounced in the preliminaries and no longer have a seat at the table after South Carolina sent them packing.

Little League World Series Champion Odds

    • International (-400)
    • United States (+300)

The international (-400) side has taken a commanding lead, according to online bookmakers. In short, BetOnline has the international bracket in a dominant spot, with an 80% implied chance to prevail. Most of that confidence comes from Chinese Taipei, who has proven to be the best team thus far.

The US isn’t being given much credit to win at +300 odds, but are they a strong value play here?

2025 Little League World Series Favorites

Before revealing my best Little League World Series picks, let’s check out the top contenders from each side in South Williamsport.

International Bracket Favorites

I consider two teams the only favorites remaining on the international bracket. Find my analysis of Chinese Taipei and Tokyo below:

  1. Chinese Taipei (-300)

Regarded as a Little League World Series powerhouse, Chinese Taipei is routinely one of the most talented squads in the tournament. They’ve won 17 titles, which is the most for any non-US team.

However, it’s been a while since Chinese Taipei has won its 17th championship. They most recently took him the LLWS title in 1996! So, I don’t think we can call Chinese Taipei a powerhouse for the last three decades.

Last year, Chinese Taipei went to the finals against Florida and were ousted in a 2-1 heartbreaker. The good news for Chinese Taipei is that they’re going to be back in the mix and potentially a trip back to the title matchup.

The pitching is once again going to be in lockdown form. They didn’t lose because the pitching let them down a year ago. Tung-Yuan Little League was impressive in the regional round against tough teams.

In seven matchups, Chinese Taipei went 6-1 after shutting out North Seoul in the championship. This team is going to be tough to hit, and it’s going to be a major issue for the opposition in Pennsylvania.

They’ve remained red-hot through their first three games. Chinese Taipei is a perfect 3-0 record, with a 3-0 win over Mexico, 4-0 over Aruba, and coming off a 7-3 victory in the double elimination round against Venezuela to advance to the international championship. The pitching has been outstanding, while Chinese Taipei has received clutch hitting as well.

  2. Tokyo (+325)

Japan has a solid chance at winning it all based on a favorable draw in the tournament. They have a fairly easy schedule and can’t complain about their opponents in the opening round.

Additionally, Joto LL has a two-way player who is going to turn heads in this event. It may not be Shohei Ohtani (yet!), but Yushi Yamamoto may show flashes of him in Little League form. He’s a top-end pitcher and is capable of swinging a strong bat.

Tokyo’s pitching staff is deep and can handle multiple starts in a row, though. They are much more than just Yamamoto. There are at least four or five pitchers in Joto LL’s rotation that can deliver with anyone on the mound.

This has offensive firepower as well, but they will have to step up in a championship matchup against Chinese Taipei. The top of the order is rock solid for Japan, but they lose some of their luster further down the lineup. So much so that I wouldn’t be surprised if Aruba eliminates Tokyo because the Asian squad went through a power drought.

Japan is 2-1 in the Little League World Series, with a big 12-0 blowout over Czechia, an uncharacteristically poor effort against Venezuela in a 4-0 loss, and a bounce-back win versus Mexico, 6-0.

All things considered, Tokyo is expected to oust Aruba and advance to the international championship. However, I’m a little leery that the offense falls flat due to the lack of depth in the lineup.

American Bracket Favorites

With Hawaii shockingly losing early in the Little League World Series, there are two new favorites to represent the US in the championship against the winner of the international bracket:

  1. Connecticut (+120)

Connecticut has risen from a low-tier longshot to the top favorite in the American bracket! It’s been an impressive run for Connecticut, which includes a 4-0 record after defeating Las Vegas in the double elimination round.

As well as that 7-3 win over Nevada, Connecticut also has wins over Texas, 1-0, Hawaii, 5-1, and South Dakota, 13-1. It’s been an absolute clinic from the Connecticut pitching staff, which had some merit heading into this tournament.

This is a squad that went into the Little League World Series with a highly-regarded offense, and while they’ve been impressive, the pitching has been the real star for Connecticut. It’s been a total team effort from the starters and bullpen as well.

Can they stay this hot deep into the event? They are playing with the most confidence in South Williamsport, and that accounts for a lot in a tournament amongst 10-12-year-olds!

  2. South Carolina (+175)

Aside from Connecticut, South Carolina is the next best hope for the US. South Carolina won thrillingly in a walk-off over Florida. Down 4-1, with two outs in the 9th inning, the team came all the way back to pull off a shocker.

That one is going to sting the Lake Mary team for a while, but what a thrilling way to go into the Little League World Series for South Carolina. However, can they put a dent in this tournament and be serious contenders to win?

Joey Giulietti is a two-way stud, and his presence will be known on the mound and in the batter’s box. He has the power to go deep and can trip up a hitter at the plate. The offense is strong as a whole, with Brady Westbrooks likely to do damage, too.

That dangerous touch has been on display for South Carolina in the tournament thus far. That said, they’ve had an up-and-down campaign, which includes a 1-0 loss to Nevada and a 13-0 victory over Massachusetts.

Little League World Series 2025 Betting Picks

With three markets for the Little League World Series at BetOnline, check out the best bets I recommend backing:

International Bracket Winner Prediction

As expected, the international bracket is coming down to Tokyo and Chinese Taipei. Chinese Taipei is the clear favorite here at -300, but I wouldn’t look past Tokyo — not with Yamamoto on the diamond.

Still, you truly have to give the edge to the stacked Chinese Taipei team. Japan isn’t going to love hitting against a high-powered Chinese Taipei pitching staff, and it will likely show up on the state sheet. This is, of course, if Tokyo makes it past Aruba, and I have my doubts in a matchup that should be close.

If Aruba upsets Tokyo, Chinese Taipei should have a free trip to the championship against the US. Aruba does not have the firepower to overcome Chinese Taipei. And, if Tokyo finds a way to get rid of the pesky Arubans, they are unlikely to scratch enough runs across the plate.

I don’t like this price, but Chinese Taipei should be closer to -500 against two beatable foes. With this in mind, Chinese Taipei at -300 is the pick here, perhaps in a parlay at an elevated price.

American Bracket Winner Prediction

Hawaii entered the Little League World Series as the clear favorites to win the American bracket. However, they had an unexpected exit, and the US side experienced a big shake-up.

I bet on Connecticut to win the American bracket at +1400 on the pre-tournament odds. While South Carolina poses a huge threat, it’s hard to deny that Connecticut is the team riding the momentum after they were disregarded as a threat heading into the tournament.

In what should be a highly entertaining finish in this bracket, I’m going to add to my original +1400 bet and place a wager on Connecticut at +120!

Little League World Series Champion Prediction

The international bracket is heavily favored to win the outright championship. According to the latest LLWS odds, at -400, there is high confidence in Chinese Taipei or Tokyo winning the title.

However, laying that kind of juice in a format like this, with the Americans still bringing some talent to the equation, is pretty foolish. Yes, Chinese Taipei is the most talented team remaining in the Little League World Series.

However, are they really so much better than Connecticut or South Carolina to justify the -400 odds? I’m not so sure. On any given day, Chinese Taipei could underperform, and that’s all it takes for them to suffer an upset.

This is baseball, and paying -400 on kids this young, where emotions play a large role, in what should be a closer finale than the odds suggest, doesn’t offer any value.

In review, I recommend taking a flier on an American team winning the Little League World Series at this fantastic price of +300.
