TGL Golf 2026 Betting Preview: Odds, Predictions, & Best Bets

The TGL golf league odds are predicting a close battle among the six teams participating in this indoor-golf venture. It’s going to be interesting to see how it works, and just how seriously the players take it in its second iteration. You can bet that the competitive juices will start flowing once the ball is teed up!

After Patrick Cantlay’s Atlanta took the maiden title in 2025, I’ll take a look at the updated odds and give you my 2026 TGL golf league predictions at the conclusion of this article! I also share some details on how the league works, since you should know the format if the plan is to bet money on the TGL.

TGL Winner Odds for 2026

TEAM ODDS
Atlanta Drive GC +275
Boston Common Golf +300
New York GC +450
The Bay GC +500
Los Angeles GC +550
Jupiter Links GC +1000

Atlanta Drive GC (+275) are off to a quick start and have established themselves as the team to beat again this season. As a +275 favorite, Atlanta has a 26.7% implied probability to capture the SoFi Cup for a second consecutive year.

Boston Common Golf (+275) has flashed some positive signs early in the league season, too. Currently, at +275, Rory McIlroy’s squad holds a 25% chance, narrowly putting them behind Atlanta. Meanwhile, despite an opening loss, New York Golf GC (+450) has the third-best odds to win TGL at 18.2%.

Aside from Jupiter Links GC, with +1000 odds, the rest of the league is in contention. The Bay GC (+500) and Los Angeles GC (+550) have a 16.7% and 15.4% implied probability of winning the 2026 title. At +1000, Jupiter Links has faint hope, with a 9.1% chance.

TGL Golf Betting Favorites

Let’s take a look at top three favorites and analyze their 2026 TGL Golf betting odds. Which team looks like the best option for your TGL picks? Let’s dive into all the details:

Atlanta Drive GC (+275)

    • Justin Thomas (OWGR: 9)
    • Patrick Cantlay (OWGR: 25)
    • Billy Horschel (OWGR: 53)
    • Lucas Glover (OWGR: 62)
    • Corey Conners – Alternate (OWGR: 30)
    • Chris Gotterup – Alternate (OWGR: 28)

Two-time major champion winner Justin Thomas leads a confident group into the 2026 season. After claiming the inaugural SoFi Cup, Thomas and Atlanta Drive GC have made it known they’re back for more this year.

Through their first two matches, Atlanta has earned four points with victories over New York GC and The Bay GC, winning 6-4 and 7-4, respectively. In their latest match, Billy Horschel delivered another clutch putt to clinch the win, just as he did against New York in the season opener, pulling out the putter to play hero for the second straight time.

Dating back to last season, Atlanta is on a seven-match winning streak in TGL. They overcame a 2–1 deficit through the first five holes to seize control in the later stages of the contest. In singles play, Shane Lowry and Wyndham Clark were the only members of The Bay GC able to put points on the board.

Atlanta is thriving after capturing the title a season ago. There hasn’t been any letdown from this team, but can they sustain this torrid pace? It might be difficult to maintain their red-hot form into March, but they deserve to be the 2026 TGL betting favorites.

Boston Golf Common (+300)

    • Rory McIlroy (OWGR: 2)
    • Keegan Bradley (OWGR: 15)
    • Hideki Matsuyama (OWGR: 17)
    • Adam Scott (OWGR: 64)
    • Michael Thorbjornsen – Alternate (OWGR: 68)

Boston Golf Common came well shy of their goals in the first season a year ago. They were held out of the win column with a final record of 0-4-1. The only point for Boston Golf Common was a loss in overtime.

Despite the poor showing, Boston is the most impressive squad on paper. They have three players in the top 20 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). With McIlroy coming off a special season on the PGA Tour, I’m confident he’s motivated to add another honor to his trophy case.

McIlroy finally won the Masters to end his major championship drought and finished the season as one of the top players statistically. In 2025, the Northern Irishman recorded three victories and eight top-10 finishes. He also ranked third in Strokes Gained: Total and fourth in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee.

The putter was bothering McIlroy over the last few years, but he rectified that, to finish ninth on the PGA Tour. That form on the green will help Boston in their quest to rewrite last year’s troubles. Early indications are that Boston is primed for a much better campaign.

They won their season opener over Los Angeles GC, 7–5. Alternate Michael Thorbjornsen delivered a big performance, ousting Sahith Theegala on holes 12 and 15 in singles play. Thorbjornsen is in the midst of a strong run on the European Tour and should be a valuable depth asset for Boston this season.

Expect Boston to be one of the last teams standing, so they’re worth considering among the best TGL Golf picks to win the SoFi Cup.

New York GC (+450)

    • Xander Schauffele (OWGR: 4)
    • Cameron Young (OWGR: 19)
    • Matt Fitzpatrick (OWGR: 21)
    • Rickie Fowler (OWGR: 82)

New York GC reached the SoFi Cup Finals against Atlanta last season. After a mediocre 2-2-1 record and five points in the standings, the team managed to come together and advance to the championship, where it ultimately fell 6-5, 4-3 in the best-of-three match.

There is plenty of talent on this roster, but all four members of New York GC can be inconsistent. Xander Schauffele is one of the best golfers on the PGA Tour, but he is coming off an up-and-down season in which he struggled to find the results he wanted.

Schauffele finished 56th in SG: Total, 91st in SG: Off the Tee, and a disappointing 139th in SG: Putting. He can turn it on at any moment, though. The same can be said for Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Rickie Fowler.

Young might have been the most consistent player of this group in 2025. He posted a respectable ranking of 19th in SG: Total and ranked evenly in SG: Putting.

Fitzpatrick and Fowler, however, need to provide New York with a lift. Fowler, in particular, must be an X-factor. He had a fantastic bounce-back campaign in 2024 but regressed in 2025, recording just three top-10 finishes and no wins.

If everything comes together at the right time, New York can win. However, it is difficult to predict which versions of these players will show up. In their TGL season opener, they were on the losing end of a 6-4 defeat to Atlanta.

TGL 2026 Longshot Bets

With only six golf clubs involved in TGL, there aren’t many longshots that you can add to your card. Nevertheless, I’ve identified one underdog 2026 TGL Golf betting pick to circle:

Los Angeles GC (+550)

Los Angeles GC enters TGL 2026 with the second-worst odds to win after opening last year as the favorite. At +550, though, there’s enough value to justify a wager on Tommy Fleetwood’s squad. Coming off a phenomenal season that included a FedEx Cup title and a Ryder Cup victory, Fleetwood doesn’t need any extra motivation.

Alongside Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa gives Los Angeles GC legitimate star power at the top of the lineup. Justin Rose and Sahith Theegala round out the starting four. I’m confident Fleetwood, Morikawa, and Rose will deliver; Theegala is the one player who must step up and close out matches in high‑leverage spots.

With Fleetwood and Morikawa on the same roster, Los Angeles GC has a strong foundation. I’d rank them ahead of The Bay GC and closer to New York’s +450 price. Considering they failed to cash as +350 favorites in 2025, this season presents a good opportunity to back Los Angeles GC at +550.

How Does TGL Golf Work?

The TGL Golf League, created by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, features six teams with four PGA Tour players on each squad.

It will be played at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach, Florida, on a massive 64×53-foot simulator. The players will hit their shots from real grass, rough, and sand, before moving to a real green from 50 yards and in. The green can also rotate to create difficult approach shots.

There have been 30 holes created specifically for the TGL Golf League, and designers weren’t restricted by natural landscapes. For example, the Temple is a 502-yard par-4 that looks similar to something you’d see in an ancient civilization. Quick Draw is a par-5 that could be 538 yards, or 720 yards!

The TGL Golf League starts on Sunday, December 28, 2025, and will run every week, with anywhere from one to three games, which are two hours long until a champion is crowned on Tuesday, March 24. ESPN and ESPN+ will carry the matches every week.

TGL Golf League Format

Each game will consist of 15 holes, placed in a random order. Each hole is worth a point, and goes to the team who takes the fewest shots, and if there is a tie, there are no points given. The tiebreaker is a 3-on-3 closest to the pin showdown. Teams can also throw “The Hammer”, which doubles the amount of a hole to two points.

Teams get two points for a win, and one point for an overtime loss. All teams play in a round-robin format, and the top four teams go to the semifinals, followed by the final, then we’ll crown a champion.

TGL Golf League Prediction and Betting Pick

Following a disappointing performance in the first season for Boston Common Golf, I expect McIlroy and Co. to be in the SoFi Cup Finals. There is too much talent on this roster for them to be quiet again.

Additionally, I suspect there is plenty of motivation to bounce back from that lackluster attempt that resulted in no wins.

The way I see it, Boston didn’t take the inaugural season too seriously. It’s largely meant to be a fun exhibition, but the competitive juices have been kicked up a notch in 2026. In other words, expect more focus from McIlroy, Bradley, Matsuyama, and Scott this year. They’re off to a good start, and I foresee it continuing through the playoffs.

The value on Boston Golf Common is too strong at +300 odds. I don’t see a better wager on the board, so consider backing Boston for your TGL Golf best bets.
