Atlanta Dream (-105) vs. Las Vegas Aces
The Dream (13-9) are in fifth place in the standings coming out of the All-Star break, and they had three players representing their team in Indianapolis last weekend!
Allisha Gray had 18 points to help Team Collier to a 151-131 win, while Brionna Jones (replacing the injured Satou Sabally) had 11 points for Team Clark. Rhyne Howard was also selected, but she sat out the game with a leg injury.

The Aces (11-11) enter the second half of the season in eighth place, and they had two All-Star players. A’ja Wilson had just four points for Team Clark, while Jackie Young played a single minute. Both players nursed injuries before the break. There was no sense of either risking further injury in the All-Star Game.

Las Vegas is favored at home at -115 on the moneyline, but I’m taking the Dream at -105 on the road! This is actually the first meeting of the season between the two, and both should be missing players. Howard is out for the rest of July with her injury, while Young is listed as questionable with a bad hip.
But the Aces are 3-7 ATS (against the spread) at home, and quite frankly, they’ve been disappointing this season. They’re ninth in both offensive and defensive rating and have been inconsistent, except for Wilson.
Even without Howard, Jones and Jordin Canada have stepped up, while Brittney Griner is still disruptive in the post.
Let’s take the Dream to get off to a winning start in the second half tonight in Vegas with odds of -105 at Bovada!
