2026 TGL Golf Match Odds This Week

Here is the latest TGL Golf match 5 odds, courtesy of BetOnline:

TEAM ODDS
Jupiter Links GC +155
Los Angeles GC -175

According to top golf betting sites, Los Angeles GC (-175) is the clear favorite to defeat Jupiter Links GC (+155) in Match 5 of the second season. At -175, Tommy Fleetwood’s team has a 63.6% implied probability to upend Max Homa and Co.

Jupiter Links is off to a slow start but hope for better results against Los Angeles in their second outing of the new season. Can they pull off the upset or is the upper hand squarely on LA’s side?

Let’s take a full dive into the matchup scheduled for Tuesday, January 20, and evaluate each roster before locking in my TGL betting picks this week:

Jupiter Links GC (+155)

    • Akshay Bhatia (OWGR: 48)
    • Tom Kim (OWGR: 107)
    • Max Homa (OWGR: 140)
    • Kevin Kisner (OWGR: NA)

Woods will watch this one from the sideline as he continues to rehab from back surgery in October. The captain will cheer on his club but won’t pick up a golf club. Woods replaced himself with Akshay Bhatia, who has the highest OWGR ranking on Jupiter Links.

Bhatia would be a fine depth piece on a TGL roster, but he is expected to be one of the top performers. Tom Kim and Max Homa should be one of the leaders for this squad. However, neither golfer has taken on their desired form over the last year.

The 23-year-old Kim has plenty of room to improve but is still very much a raw player. In 2025, Kim ranked 106th in SG: Total, 142nd in SG: Off the Tee, and 123rd in SG: Putting. Kim just isn’t where he wants to be yet in his career. I expect progress, though he hasn’t finished in the top 25 in six of his previous seven events.

Homa has had more success in his career, though he only had two top 10 finishes with no wins in 2025. With a 146th ranking in SG: Total and 151st in SG: Tee-to-Green, he needs a big bounce back campaign. In other words, I don’t have much faith in Homa against Los Angeles GC, either.

In their season opener, Jupiter Links struggled with an 8-3 loss to New York GC. It isn’t much of a surprise, as this is the worst team in TGL this season!

Los Angeles GC (-175)

    • Tommy Fleetwood (OWGR: 3)
    • Justin Rose (OWGR: 10)
    • Collin Morikawa (OWGR: 17)
    • Sahith Theegala (OWGR: 120)

Despite starting the year with a loss, I still expect Los Angeles GC to bounce back with a quality performance. This matchup sets up well for them, and I see them cruising against Jupiter Links.

Los Angeles enters this week coming off a disappointing stretch of results. As the top seed in last year’s TGL playoffs, they were upset by New York, and they then opened the 2026 campaign against another tough opponent in Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf.

Although Los Angeles fell 7-5 in that opener, it’s important to remember the context: Boston Common is widely regarded as one of the favorites to win the league this season and still features one of the strongest rosters. Given that, I’m not downgrading Los Angeles too harshly and expect Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose, and Collin Morikawa to reset and respond.

On paper, this is still an elite group. With Fleetwood and Morikawa, Los Angeles has two players who ranked inside the top 15 in SG: Total last season. In 2025, Fleetwood finished second and Morikawa 15th, giving this team plenty of high-end firepower.

Fleetwood has also carried that form into recent events. He’s coming off a win at the DP World Tour’s World India Championship, a runner-up at the Abu Dhabi Championship, and a T3 at the DP World Tour Championship, all signs that his game is in a great place.

Rose has quietly been reliable as well. He’s posted top 20 finishes in five of his last eight starts, including a victory at the St. Jude Championship. When you combine that level of form with the rest of this roster, Los Angeles looks well positioned to deliver a strong performance this week.

TGL Golf Predictions and Best Bets This Week

With three players in the top 20 in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), Los Angeles has the obvious advantage in this matchup. Note that Jupiter Links doesn’t have one golfer in the top 45, with Woods’ replacement, Bhatia, the highest-rated.

Kim and Homa are two of the most inconsistent golfers on the PGA Tour. The underlying talent is most definitely present, but backing them to carry the load against Fleetwood, Rose, and Morikawa is simply too much for Jupiter Links.

I anticipated a higher price on Los Angeles to win – they should probably have -250 odds to win this match outright. With that in mind, the play for your TGL Golf match picks this week is on Los Angeles GC!
