Best Anytime TD Scorer Bets for Week 7 (With Reasoning)

Here’s the reasoning behind my anytime TD scorer picks this week:

Ollie Gordon (+170): Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets

Ollie Gordon has found the end zone in three straight games, and he has a favorable matchup to keep that streak alive against the New York Jets. At +170, the Miami Dolphins running back offers appealing value as an anytime touchdown scorer, especially with Miami coming off a Week 6 bye.

The Dolphins have struggled to move the ball through the air, averaging just 153.6 passing yards per game. That puts added emphasis on the ground game and creates a path for Gordon to see consistent opportunities. He has averaged 5.0 yards per carry and more than 14 carries per game across his last three starts, giving him a solid workload to build on.

New York has allowed 123 rushing yards per game, tied for the ninth most in the NFL, along with six total touchdowns to running backs this season. At 6 foot 2, Gordon brings the size to finish drives near the goal line. If Miami reaches the red zone, he has a strong chance to make his presence felt and find the end zone again.

Tetairoa McMillan (+129): Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers

Tetairoa McMillan is well positioned to score a touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, making him an appealing bet at +129. The Carolina Panthers receiver has established himself as the team’s top passing option and draws a favorable matchup against a Tampa Bay secondary that has struggled to contain wide receivers.

The Buccaneers have allowed at least one passing touchdown to a wide receiver in each of their last five games. They have also surrendered 11.65 yards per reception to the position this season, creating opportunities for McMillan to capitalize.

McMillan leads Carolina with 32 catches for 471 yards and is averaging 14.7 yards per reception. He has recorded nine plays of at least 20 yards and has two receiving touchdowns this season.

Tampa Bay has given up 10 explosive plays of 20+ yards, including three of 40+ yards. With McMillan’s ability to stretch the field and turn catches into big gains, this matchup gives him a clear path to another trip to the end zone.

Trey McBride (+129): Denver Broncos vs. Arizona Cardinals

Trey McBride has been one of the most reliable receiving options in the NFL this season, and he has a favorable opportunity to find the end zone against the Denver Broncos. At +129, the Arizona Cardinals tight end is a solid anytime touchdown scorer pick, particularly given his consistent role in the passing game.

McBride has recorded at least seven catches in every game, leading Arizona with 49 receptions for 361 yards. He has also caught three of Jacoby Brissett’s nine touchdown passes, underscoring his importance when the Cardinals get into scoring range.

Arizona has struggled to put points on the board at times, but McBride remains one of its most dependable goal-line options.

Denver has allowed a tight end to score in three of its last four games, creating an encouraging matchup for McBride. The Broncos could also be without Pat Surtain II and Talanoa Hufanga, potentially weakening their ability to contain Arizona’s top receiving threat. With his steady volume and established touchdown role, McBride has a strong chance to score.

Tyler Higbee (+260): Los Angeles Rams vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Tyler Higbee offers intriguing value as an anytime touchdown scorer at +260, especially with the Los Angeles Rams potentially looking for new ways to attack near the goal line. With Davante Adams sidelined for six to ten weeks with a hamstring injury, Higbee could see more opportunities in short yardage and near the goal line.

Higbee has already established himself as a productive option in the Rams’ passing game, ranking third on the team with 246 receiving yards. He averages 10.3 yards per reception, and his 6-foot-6 frame gives Stafford a big target when space tightens near the goal line.

The matchup against Las Vegas makes the price even more appealing. The Raiders have struggled to contain opposing passing attacks, allowing 7.9 yards per reception, tied for the fourth most in the league.

They have also surrendered six touchdowns to tight ends this season. With a favorable matchup and the potential for an expanded role near the end zone, Higbee is worth a look to score at the juicy price of +260.
