Best Anytime TD Scorer Bets for Week 9 (With Reasoning)
Here’s the reasoning behind my anytime TD scorer picks this week:
Tee Higgins (+100): Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons
Tee Higgins is an appealing anytime touchdown scorer at +100, especially considering his recent production in Cincinnati’s passing attack. Despite operating as the WR2 behind Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins has remained heavily involved, recording four touchdowns over his last five games.

He has also surpassed 148 receiving yards in three of his last four outings, showing just how dangerous he can be when given opportunities.
The Bengals’ struggles on the ground provide another reason to like Higgins. Cincinnati averages just 80.3 rushing yards per game, the third-fewest in the NFL. Their inability to establish a consistent running game has forced Joe Burrow to rely more heavily on the passing attack.
Burrow leads the NFL with 20 touchdown passes, and with the defense focused on containing Chase, Higgins should have chances to exploit softer coverage. At even money, Higgins offers solid value to find the end zone against Atlanta in Madrid.
Devin Singletary (+110): New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles
Devin Singletary is an intriguing anytime touchdown option at +110, particularly with the Giants’ backfield situation creating an opportunity for a larger workload. Following New York’s Week 8 bye, the running back room remains unsettled, with Cam Skattebo dealing with a hamstring injury. If Skattebo is sidelined, Singletary could take over as the lead back against Philadelphia.
Singletary has found the end zone twice in four games this season, including once as a receiver. He’s totaled just 26 touches so far, leaving plenty of room for increased production if he sees a significant bump in opportunities this weekend.
The matchup also works in his favor. Philadelphia has allowed six touchdowns to running backs and 134.8 scrimmage yards per game to the position. If Singletary gets the starting nod, he should have opportunities to capitalize on the Eagles’ struggles against opposing backfields. At +110, he’s worth a look as an anytime TD scorer.
Seth McGowan (+110): Dallas Cowboys vs. Indianapolis Colts
Seth McGowan is an intriguing anytime touchdown scorer at +110, especially with the Colts potentially preparing for life without Jonathan Taylor. With Taylor likely to be traded before Tuesday’s deadline, Indianapolis could limit his workload on Sunday, opening the door for McGowan to take on a much larger role as the team’s top running back.

The rookie has yet to find the end zone this season, but there are encouraging signs in his limited opportunities. McGowan is averaging 4.4 yards per carry on 37 attempts as a pro. If his workload increases as expected, he’ll have a much better opportunity to break through for his first career touchdown.
The matchup couldn’t be much better, either. Dallas owns the NFL’s worst run defense, surrendering 152.8 rushing yards per game and 10 rushing touchdowns. If McGowan gets the expected increase in carries, he has a legitimate opportunity to take advantage of this favorable matchup and find the end zone.
Mike Washington (+170): Las Vegas Raiders vs. San Francisco 49ers
Mike Washington is an intriguing anytime touchdown scorer at +170 after seemingly taking over the Raiders’ backfield last week. Despite Ashton Jeanty playing the entire game, Washington dominated the workload with 25 carries compared to Jeanty’s two.
He turned those opportunities into 83 rushing yards, suggesting he could get another significant workload against San Francisco.
The presence of Brock Bowers should also benefit Washington. The star tight end remains the focal point of Las Vegas’ offense, and the 49ers will likely devote plenty of defensive attention to limiting his impact. That could create additional running lanes for Washington to exploit.
San Francisco has allowed four touchdowns to running backs this season, split evenly between rushing and receiving scores. While the 49ers have been relatively stingy at 3.5 yards per carry, Washington’s expected volume gives him a strong opportunity to find the end zone. At +170, he’s worth a look.
