I think this Paul Skenes prop offers outstanding value! He gave up three runs or more in just six starts last season. The Under should be closer to -150 for such a high line, at least based on Skenes’ first two seasons. -115 is definitely a number I can recommend a wager on!

I can’t see Skenes declining this season; in fact, I think he’s going to be even better in 2026. He turns 24 on May 29th, and still has a lot to learn about being an ace in the big leagues. But Skenes is off to a wonderful start, so I will take the OVER at -125 for this Paul Skenes prop bet.

The Pirates did pick up Ryan O’Hearn, Marcell Ozuna, and Brandon Lowe to improve the offense. Pittsburgh is also banking on improvement from Oneil Cruz, who was excellent for the Dominican Republic at the World Baseball Classic.
But still, I need to see it first, and it should be noted that PNC Park isn’t known as a hitter’s park. That’s great for Skenes, but might not be for the Pittsburgh offense. With a better return available at -105, I’m leaning towards the Under here for this Paul Skenes prop bet.
