Several AI terms are up for Word of the Year in 2026, including “Claude” and “Deepfake.” However, after an AI-related word won in 2025, Merriam-Webster may avoid them this year.

The list is fluid, and you can view an updated Top 10 Most Wanted ranking on the FBI’s website. Two members of the list, Ryan Wedding and Cindy Rodrigues Singh, were recently captured. For the yes option in this wager to cash at -350 odds, any other fugitive in the Top 10 must be captured by June 2026.
