2026 WWE WrestleMania Betting Preview: Odds, Predictions, and Best Picks

The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend) are the champs going into this Women’s Tag Team Championship showdown, winning the title from Rhiyo (Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky) on February 27.

Still, they’re third in these Wrestlemania 42 odds, with the bookies favoring Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and the Bella Twins, who have never held the belts. However, Nikki Bella is favoring an ankle injury, and she’ll probably wrestle, but they won’t get the belts just yet.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss held the belts last year, and they do have beef with the champs, who caused Flair and Bliss to lose the belts to the Kubuki Warriors in November 2025. This clash could serve as a setup for a potential repeat. That would well if the champions keep their belts, so I’m taking their WrestleMania 42 odds of +800 for a big return!

Randy Orton is the favorite at WWE Betting sites here for this match against Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. But most of the attention around this storyline has centered on Pat McAfee, the ESPN personality who has been involved with WWE since 2018.

McAfee has also wrestled at WrestleMania twice in 2022 and 2023, and as a media personality in 2024 and 2025. He is aligned with Orton right now. Meanwhile, musican Jelly Roll is now in Rhodes’ corner.

There are thoughts that TKO, WWE’s parent company, have gotten involved with the storyline, given that WWE and ESPN also work together and McAfee is one of their most popular personalities.

McAfee said he’d never work with WWE again if Orton loses, which puts a weird spin on this. It feels strange that Orton is getting another title run at this stage in his career, but that’s what I’m wagering on in my WWE WrestleMania 42 betting picks.

This Ladder Match for Penta’s Intercontinental Championship could be the best match of either WrestleMania 42 night. The champion won the belt from Dominik Mysterio on March 2, and it would seem that Rey Mysterio, Dominik’s father, would be favored to avenge his family name.

However, it’s Je’Von Evans who is the favorite here after making the jump to the big leagues in January.

Evans lasted 41 minutes in his Royal Rumble debut, but did acquit himself well. There will be plenty of high-flying spots in this match, and I think it’s either going to be Evans or Penta. I’m leaning Penta in my WrestleMania 42 picks for a slightly better return, and he just got the belt in February, making him the first Mexican-born wrestler to hold the title.

I would expect from the WWE to leave the title with him for at least a little longer, so backing the champ is the bet here.

The main event for Night 2 features World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk as the underdog against Roman Reigns, who is arguably the biggest name in WWE. Punk went on a warpath recently, going off about many things, but also the McAfee situation and TKO.

Reigns recently filmed Street Fighter 2, and he was in Zootopia 2 last year. It looks like he could be moving more in the direction of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and John Cena, looking more at a film career in the near future.

Therefore, I’m leaning towards the value of CM Punk in my WWE WrestleMania predictions. Reigns could end up with another role in the future, leaving WWE to scramble and find a way to take the belt from him. They might as well just leave it with Punk for now.
