The NFL Week 6 odds include a team favored by a touchdown or more in roughly a third of the games. In theory, we should have many one-sided matchups, but the streak of upsets this season makes every game a must-see!

The NFL Week 6 schedule starts with an NFC East clash on Thursday Night Football. Philadelphia, fresh off a first loss of the season, take on the Giants (1-4) at MetLife.
Then, a 12-game Sunday slate starts with the Broncos and Jets facing off in London. The Packers, who were on a bye last week, are the biggest favorites of the weekend at -14 as they welcome the Bengals to Lambeau.
Only two teams, the Vikings and the Texans, are on byes this weekend, so we’ll have plenty of action!

Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | ||
---|---|---|---|
Philadelphia Eagles | -7 (-115) | -400 | Over 41 (-110) |
New York Giants | +7 (-105) | +300 | Under 41 (-110) |
Philadelphia suffered a first loss of the season on Sunday, falling 21-17 at home against the Broncos. To make matters worse, the Eagles led 17-3 at the start of the fourth quarter.
The good news for Philly is that they get to play the Giants this week in an NFC East showdown on Thursday Night Football. New York is a 7-point underdog at home this weekend.
Jaxson Dart and company lost on Sunday against the previously winless Saints. Dart faces a tougher test in this game, taking on a stout Eagles’ defense on a short week. Philadelphia’s offensive issues are concerning, but they are good enough to beat the Giants.
Dart did not look as good last week as he did in his debut. However, he is back home this week, and the Eagles are reeling from their first loss of the year. With that in mind, I think the Giants keep it closer than the odds suggest.
Eagles vs. Giants NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: New York Giants +7 (-105)
- Moneyline Bet: Philadelphia Eagles (-400)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 41 (-110)
Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Denver Broncos | -7 (-120) | -400 | Over 43 (-115) |
New York Jets | +7 (-120) | +300 | Under 43 (-105) |
Speaking of Denver, the Broncos (3-2) head to London this week to take on the winless New York Jets (0-5). The Broncos are favored by 7 points in this international game.
Denver’s defense has been one of the stingiest units in the NFL. The Broncos are allowing 16.8 PPG this year, second only to Houston (12.2 PPG). Their offensive explosion in the fourth quarter last week showed the NFL how dangerous this Broncos team can be.
New York, on the other hand, has struggled in every phase of the game. The Jets’ offense is averaging 22.4 PPG, but their defense is allowing 31.4 PPG, the second-most in the league. New York is also one of the most penalized teams in the league, with 42 accepted penalties going against the Jets this season.
The Broncos should win this game, but Denver has a 1-2 record ATS as a favorite. New York’s offense has been inconsistent, but the Jets can keep it close this week.
Broncos vs. Jets NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: New York Jets +7 (-120)
- Moneyline Bet: Denver Broncos (-400)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 43 (-105)
Arizona Cardinals vs. Indianapolis Colts Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Arizona Cardinals | +6.5 (-105) | +255 | Over 47.5 (-110) |
Indianapolis Colts | -6.5 (-115) | -310 | Under 47.5 (-110) |
The Cardinals’ 2-0 start is a distant memory now that the team has lost three straight games. All three of their losses came on game-winning field goals in the final seconds of the game.
Arizona’s losing streak is unlikely to end this week as they face the Colts (4-1) in Indianapolis. The Colts have been dominant this season, earning three of their four wins by at least 21 points. Last week, Indy dismantled the Raiders 40-6.
Adding to the Cardinals’ woes are their mounting injuries. Running backs James Conner and Trey Benson are out again this week, so the Cards will lean on Emari Demercado and Michael Carter.
Indy’s defense, which is allowing the third-fewest PPG (17.8) this season, should suffocate the injury-riddled Cardinals this week. The Colts should win and cover the spread at home on Sunday.
Cardinals vs. Colts NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Indianapolis Colts -6.5 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Indianapolis Colts (-310)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 47.5 (-110)
Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Cleveland Browns | +4.5 (+100) | +205 | Over 38 (-115) |
Pittsburgh Steelers | -4.5 (-120) | -245 | Under 38 (-105) |
Cleveland and Pittsburgh both last played on international ground. However, Pittsburgh opted to have its bye after its trip to Germany. The Browns, on the other hand, chose not to have their bye this week and will take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh this week.
Travel is not the only reason Cleveland is getting 4.5 points this week. The Browns are starting rookie Dillon Gabriel this weekend. Gabriel put up 190 passing yards and two passing TDs in his debut last week.
The Browns’ rookie will be under more pressure this week in a tough road environment. Gabriel does not have his NFL mentor, either, as the Browns traded Joe Flacco to division rival Cincinnati this week.
Pittsburgh should be rested and healthier after its bye week. Cleveland’s defense is great, but the offense should struggle in this one.
Browns vs. Steelers NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Pittsburgh Steelers -4.5 (-120)
- Moneyline Bet: Pittsburgh Steelers (-245)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 38 (-115)
Dallas Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Dallas Cowboys | -3 (-115) | -170 | Over 49.5 (-110) |
Carolina Panthers | +3 (-105) | +145 | Under 49.5 (-110) |
Dallas (2-2-1) earned its first road win of the season with its 37-22 victory over the Jets last week. The Cowboys will attempt to keep that momentum going this week against the Panthers (2-3) in Carolina.
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are 3-point road favorites this week. Carolina is listed as a +145 underdog at home.
The Panthers have a 57-24 point differential in their two wins this season and are undefeated at home. Carolina won last week despite falling down 17-0 in the second quarter. A surprising performance by former Cowboys’ running back Rico Dowdle, who had over 200 rushing yards, helped the Panthers pull off the comeback.
Dallas is not a great team, but they are much better than the Miami team Carolina faced last week. The Panthers have also won back-to-back games just once in the previous three seasons. Prescott and the Cowboys should win and cover the 3-point spread.
Cowboys vs. Panthers NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Dallas Cowboys -3 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Dallas Cowboys (-170)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 49.5 (-110)
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Miami Dolphins Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Los Angeles Chargers | -4 (-110) | -210 | Over 43 (-110) |
Miami Dolphins | +4 (-110) | +175 | Under 43 (-110) |
The Chargers followed up their shocking loss to the previously winless Giants in Week 4 with a home loss against the Commanders last week. Los Angeles hits the road this week, taking on the Dolphins (1-4) in Miami. The Dolphins’ only win this year came against the winless Jets.
Justin Herbert and the Chargers are 4-point road favorites. Despite the odds, winning this week in Miami will not be easy for LA.
First and foremost, they must travel from Los Angeles to Miami. In addition to the long flight, the forecast calls for low 80s temperatures with over 70% humidity for the 1:00 pm ET kick-off. Not to mention, the Chargers are dealing with multiple injuries on offense and will be without Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton on Sunday.
Injury and weather concerts aside, the Chargers should win. However, Miami should be able to keep it tight until the end and stay within the spread.
Chargers vs. Dolphins NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Miami Dolphins +4 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Los Angeles Chargers (-210)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 43 (-110)
Los Angeles Rams vs. Baltimore Ravens Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Los Angeles Rams | -7 (-115) | -400 | Over 44.5 (-115) |
Baltimore Ravens | +7 (-105) | +300 | Under 44.5 (-105) |
The other LA team is also on the road this week against an East Coast team. Matthew Stafford and the Rams (3-2) look to bounce back from their second loss in three against the Ravens (1-4).
Baltimore has been outscored 119-60 in its last three games. The Ravens have also allowed 177 points this year, and their 35.4 PPG is the most given up by any team this season. They have allowed 37+ points in all four of their losses this year.
The Ravens have a bye in Week 7, so I doubt Lamar Jackson (hamstring) plays this week.
LA, on the other hand, is only 3-2, but their losses were both close. Stafford leads the NFL with 1,503 passing yards, and Puka Nacua has the most receiving yards (588) and the most receptions (52) this year.
Stafford and the Rams need a get-right game, and there is no better opponent than this injury-depleted Ravens team. LA should cover most of the 44.5 points by themselves and win this game by double digits.
Rams vs. Ravens NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Los Angeles Rams -7 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Los Angeles Rams (-400)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 44.5 (-115)
Seattle Seahawks vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Seattle Seahawks | +1.5 (-115) | +100 | Over 46 (-115) |
Jacksonville Jaguars | -1.5 (-105) | -120 | Under 46 (-105) |
Seattle came up short in its 38-35 loss to Tampa Bay last week. The Seahawks must put that home loss behind them as they face a tough challenge on the road this weekend. Sam Darnold and the Seahawks face Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars (4-1) in Jacksonville.
The Jaguars just beat the Chiefs on MNF and are tied for the best record in the AFC South. Jacksonville’s defense has given up just 20 PPG, the eighth-fewest in the league. Seattle is tied for 11th at 21 PPG allowed.
Seattle’s offense, on the other hand, is averaging 29.2 PPG, the fifth-most. The Jags are not far behind at 25.4 PPG, which ranks 10th.
This game could come down to how Travis Etienne Jr. fares against Seattle’s run defense. Etienne Jr. is fourth in the league with 443 rushing yards, but the Seahawks allow the third-fewest rushing YPG (83) in the league.
The Seahawks’ loss last week was disheartening, but their homefield advantage is far from what it used to be. On the flip side, Seattle has won nine of its last 10 road games. I think their streak of road success continues by shutting down the Jags’ rushing attack.
Seahawks vs. Jaguars NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Seattle Seahawks +1.5 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Seattle Seahawks (+100)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 46 (-105)
San Francisco 49ers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
San Francisco 49ers | +3 (-115) | +135 | Over 47.5 (-110) |
Tampa Bay Buccaneers | -3 (-105) | -160 | Under 47.5 (-110) |
One of the marquee games of the weekend pits the 49ers (4-1) against the Buccaneers (4-1) in Tampa Bay. Both teams secured huge upsets last week. San Francisco was getting 5.5 points against the Rams on TNF, while Baker Mayfield and the Bucs were listed at +3.5 for their game in Seattle.
The 49ers are underdogs again this week at +3. Mayfield and company are -160 favorites in the latest moneyline odds for this game.
San Francisco is once again battling the injury bug, but they have overcome their shortcomings so far. However, with their starting QB spot in question, it is hard to bet on the 49ers pulling off the upset again this week. The offense has looked better with Mac Jones under center, but Brock Purdy, the starter, is week-to-week with a turf toe injury and could return.
Jones has also dealt with injuries this season, putting the 49ers QB position further in doubt. The Bucs, on the other hand, have earned all four of their wins with late field goal drives. Tampa Bay has dealt with plenty of injuries itself, but Baker is healthy and will lead the Bucs to another win this week.
49ers vs. Buccaneers NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: San Francisco 49ers +3 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-160)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 47.5 (-110)
Tennessee Titans vs. Las Vegas Raiders Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Tennessee Titans | +5 (-110) | +205 | Over 41 (-115) |
Las Vegas Raiders | -5 (-110) | -245 | Under 41 (-105) |
Tennessee earned its first win of the Cam Ward Era, scoring 19 unanswered points to beat the Cardinals last week. Ward and the Titans are 5-point underdogs this week against the Raiders in Las Vegas.
The Raiders upset the Patriots in Week 1 but have lost four straight since. Las Vegas has allowed 40+ points in two of its last three games.
Part of the reason for the Raiders’ struggles this year has been the poor play of Geno Smith. The journeyman QB has nine interceptions, the most in the NFL. Smith has also been sacked 16 times, which is tied for the third-most.
Ward leads the league in sacks with 19, but the rookie has only been sacked four times in the last two games. The young QB has improved every week and is coming off a career-high 265 passing yards. It will not be easy, but the Titans can get their second win of the season this week against the Raiders.
Titans vs. Raiders NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Tennessee Titans +5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Tennessee Titans (+205)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 41 (-115)
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Green Bay Packers Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Cincinnati Bengals | +14 (-105) | +750 | Over 44.5 (-110) |
Green Bay Packers | -14 (-115) | -1400 | Under 44.5 (-110) |
The Bengals’ ineptitudes on offense reared their ugly head ahead last week as Cincinnati fell
37-24 last week against the Lions. Cincy put up 21 points in garbage time, but that scoring explosion was not enough to save Jake Browning’s job as the current starter.
On Tuesday, the Bengals acquired Joe Flacco from their in-state division rival, the Cleveland Browns. It is unclear whether Browning or Flacco will start this weekend against the Packers.
Green Bay, which has not won since Week 2, is coming off its bye week and is favored by 14 points at home. They face a Bengals’ defense that has allowed 27+ points in four straight games. The last time Green Bay was a double-digit favorite, they lost the Flacco-led Browns in Week 3.
Cincy does not have nearly the same level of defense as Cleveland. The Bengals’ offensive line is also one of the worst units in the NFL, allowing 14 sacks so far this season.
Green Bay is rested and has the advantage on both sides of the line of scrimmage. The Packers should win and cover the two-touchdown spread at home.
Bengals vs. Packers NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Green Bay Packers -14 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Green Bay Packers (-1400)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 44.5 (-110)
New England Patriots vs. New Orleans Saints Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
New England Patriots | -3.5 (+100) | -185 | Over 46 (-110) |
New Orleans Saints | +3.5 (-120) | +160 | Under 46 (-110) |
The Patriots (3-2) and Saints (1-4) both secured major wins last week. New England upset the Bills, ending Buffalo’s undefeated season. The Saints, on the other hand, earned their first win of the season and the first win of Spencer Rattler’s NFL career.
They square off this week, with the Patriots 3.5-point road favorites in the Big Easy.
New Orleans climbed out of the ranks of the winless, but getting a second win this week will be easier said than done. Rattler and the Saints are near the bottom of the league in points allowed, giving up 27 PPG this year.
The Patriots’ defense, conversely, held the Bills, one of the highest-scoring teams in the NFL, to 20 points.
Second-year QB Drake Maye has the fifth-most passing yards (1,261) and a 7:2 TD: INT ratio. However, he has also been sacked 17 times, the second-most of any QB this season. If Maye can stay upright, though, he should lead the Pats to their third-straight win this weekend.
Patriots vs. Saints NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: New England Patriots -3.5 (+100)
- Moneyline Bet: New England Patriots (-185)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 46 (-110)
Buffalo Bills vs. Atlanta Falcons Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Buffalo Bills | -3.5 (-110) | -195 | Over 48.5 (-105) |
Atlanta Falcons | +3.5 (-110) | +165 | Under 48.5 (-115) |
In the first of two MNF games this week, the Falcons (2-2) host the Bills (4-1) in Atlanta. The Falcons were on a bye last week. Despite the extra time to prepare, Atlanta is a 3.5-point home underdog in this prime-time game.
Buffalo’s offense was stuck in the mud in the first half of their loss last week. The Bills, who were averaging over 33 PPG entering the game, were held to just three points in the first half. They put up 17 in the second half, but their defense could not stop Drake Maye.
Atlanta is loaded with talented players, including Bijan Robinson and Drake London. Unfortunately, the Falcons are just 2-2, including a 30-0 loss to Carolina. Part of the Falcons’ struggles falls on the shoulders of second-year QB Michael Penix, Jr.
Penix Jr. has only been sacked five times this year, but he has just three passing TDs. He also has a QBR of just 57.6 so far this season. If Penix Jr. continues to struggle to get the Falcons’ playmakers involved, the home team will lost this one.
Bills vs. Falcons NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Buffalo Bills -3.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Buffalo Bills (-195)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 48.5 (-105)
Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Chicago Bears | +4.5 (-110) | +185 | Over 50 (-110) |
Washington Commanders | -4.5 (-110) | -225 | Under 50 (-110) |
The final game of Week 6 and the second game of Monday’s doubleheader pits the Bears against the Commanders in Washington. Washington needed a game-winning Hail Mary to beat Chicago when these teams squared off last season.
Jayden Daniels missed two games with a knee injury, but he returned last week. After falling down 10-0, Daniels and the Commanders put up 27 unanswered points to knock off the Chargers in LA.
Chicago started 0-2 but picked up two straight wins to improve to .500 before its bye last week. The Bears should be rested for this matchup, and they had additional time to prepare. However, their inconsistencies on offense could cost them this week.
Washington has the best rushing attack in the league, averaging 156.4 rushing YPG. Chicago has allowed the second-most rushing YPG (164.5) this season.
The Commanders should be able to lean heavily on its running game this week to pick up the prime time win. Their porous pass defense though, which surrenders the 10th-most YPG, should allow Chicago to keep the game close enough.
Bears vs. Commanders NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Chicago Bears +4.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Washington Commanders (-225)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 50 (-110)
Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Detroit Lions | +2.5 (-110) | +120 | Over 52.5 (-110) |
Kansas City Chiefs | -2.5 (-110) | -140 | Under 52.5 (-110) |
This week’s Sunday Night Football game features two premier teams in the NFL. The Lions (4-1) have scored the most points in the league, averaging 34.8 PPG through five weeks. They take on the Chiefs (2-3) in Kansas City this week.
Despite the difference in record and the Lions’ explosive offense, Detroit are a 2.5-point road underdog in this prime-time game. This is the first time all season that KC have been favorites at home.
The Chiefs lost last week, falling 31-28 against the Jaguars in Jacksonville. In their previous two home stints, they lost as underdogs to the Eagles in Week 2 and overcame the odds to beat an injury-riddled Ravens team in Week 4.
Detroit, on the other hand, has been rolling since losing in Week 1. The Lions have averaged over 40 PPG in their last four outings.
KC is the more desperate team, and the Chiefs’ faithful will be rocking on SNF. However, desperation and the roar of the crowd can only take you so far. Jared Goff is 2-0 against Patrick Mahomes, including a win in Arrowhead to kick off the 2023 season. Goff can pick up another win this weekend, moving to 3-0 against Mahomes in their careers.
Lions vs. Chiefs NFL Week 6 Best Bets:
- Points Spread: Detroit Lions +2.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Detroit Lions (+120)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 52.5 (-110)
