The Valkyries (3-5) are coming off a stunning 95-68 demolition of Las Vegas at home on Saturday in which Golden State played their best game of the season! Golden State held the Aces to 35.5% shooting from the floor, and outrebounded them 43-31.

Their 95 points scored were well above their season average of 77.0. More impressively, their 68 points allowed was much better than their average of 81.0 points. It was especially a big game for Golden State head coach Natalie Nakase and guard Kate Martin, who were both in Las Vegas last season.

Los Angeles (3-6) have been off since a 93-79 win over Dallas on Friday night, snapping a three-game losing skid. The Sparks shot a remarkable 55.6% from the field, led by 21 points from Azura Stevens. However, all five LA starters reached double figures, and the Sparks had 24 assists on their 35 baskets, so the ball was moving!

The two California teams have met twice this season, with the Sparks winning 84-67 at Golden State in their season opener on May 16. The Valkyries got their revenge with an 82-73 win in Los Angeles a week later.

The Sparks are favored by 6.5 points at home, but I’m taking Golden State to cover the 6.5-point WNBA betting spread at -105 at BetUS tonight!

Los Angeles is 1-4 at home this season, and the Valkyries are second in the league in points allowed, which helps offset a struggling offense. I can’t get there to predict an outright win for Golden State, but I’ll tip them to cover 6.5 points on the road tonight!

The Net Rating takes into consideration, a team’s offensive and defensive efficiency. The offensive efficiency is subtracted from the defensive to calculate the Net Rating. This provides the point differential per 100 possessions.

Early in the season, using the Net Rating without an ample sample size can be ineffective. However, as the season progresses, it’s a helpful tool for you at WNBA betting sites.

4. Look At Player Matchups
