France (+300) are the favorites at the best sports betting sites, entering with a 25% implied win probability. The French have won five silver medals and a bronze medal in the last six editions of the EuroBasket women’s tournament, but they haven’t won gold since 2009. 2023’s gold medalists, Belgium (+350) are right behind France with an implied win chance of 22.2%.
The Germans (+500) last won a medal in this event in 1997, beating Hungary in the bronze-medal game. They’ll enter the 2025 EuroBasket women’s tournament with a 16.7% implied chance to win, with Spain (+600) next at 14.3%. Spain lost the gold-medal game to Belgium in 2023, but their four EuroBasket women’s wins are second only to the former Soviet Union, which won a whopping 21 times!
Serbia (+900) and Turkey (+1400) are next in the EuroBasket women’s 2025 odds, while Czechia (+1800), Italy (+1800), and Slovenia (+1800) are also in the mix. You can get a nice return on their prices, but these teams will need the top tier to stumble before getting to the final on June 29 in Piraeus, Greece!

Favorites in the EuroBasket Women’s 2025 Odds
Now that you know how the format of the tournament, let’s get into the EuroBasket women’s 2025 odds, starting with the favorites!
France (+300)
France has been one of the top teams in Europe for over a decade. However, they’re still waiting for their second gold medal after five straight losses in the final, along with a third-place win. They lost three finals to Spain (2013, 2017, 2019), and two to Serbia (2015, 2021). But France defeated Hungary 82-68 in 2023’s bronze-medal game.

The French will be without several WNBA players who are staying back in the United States, notably Seattle’s Gabby Williams and Connecticut’s Bria Hartley. Williams led the team in points during qualification, but Golden State’s Janelle Salaun and Illiana Rupert were next in points. France will also have to replace point guard Marine Fauthoux, who sprained her knee in early June.
Without Williams and Fauthoux, France has most of the roster that almost beat the United States in a thrilling gold-medal game at the Olympics last summer. Head coach Jean-Aime Toupane can call on an experienced roster that is motivated to get some gold for their country. At +300, France are the appropriate favorites in the EuroBasket women’s 2025 betting odds. Can they come through?
Belgium (+350)
The defending champions from Belgium won EuroBasket for the first time in 2023, beating Spain 64-58. That followed a bronze-medal win for Belarus in 2021, and Belgium lost to Australia in the bronze-medal game at the 2024 Olympics.

Emma Meesseman led the Olympics in points, and she was the MVP of the 2023 EuroBasket tournament. She’ll be back, along with Golden State’s Kyara Linskens, who was the MVP of the final win over Spain. These two give Belgium a ton of size in the post, while another Golden State player, Julie Vanloo, and Julie Allemand combined to average 13.3 assists in EuroBasket qualification.
Despite their talent, Belgium is still second to France in the EuroBasket women’s 2025 odds. They lost to France 81-75 in an incredible overtime game in the semifinals of the Olympics. Head coach Mike Thibault surely knows and should use that as motivation. He took the job in January 2025, and won the WNBA title with Washington in 2019.
Can Thibault take Belgium to back-to-back EuroBasket women’s championships? Since the Soviet Union run, only one team has repeated as EuroBasket champions, and that is Spain in 2017 and 2019. The prices seem to have faith in the Belgian Cats!
Spain (+600)
I’m going to take Spain in the third spot for the favorites because I think they’re a better team, and the return is better on their 2025 EuroBasket women’s odds. This is also considering that Spain has suffered several injuries heading into the tournament.

Spain will be without Maite Carzola, Queralt Casas, Maria Conde, and Megan Gustafson because of injuries. But there are still some players called up to the team by head coach Miguel Mendez. Paula Ginzo was second to Gustafson in points during qualification, although Laura Gil was passed over. Mendez is looking to make the team younger, and he is banking on a big tournament from 18-year-old Awa Fam. She was second to Gil in rebounds, and Fam needs to step up even more. Alba Torrens is the veteran of the group, and she’ll hope to play a large role for Spain on and off the court. Spain will have six players 25 and younger, and many, including Fam, will be playing in their first major tournament.
If everything comes together for Spain, their ceiling is high, although not as high as France or Belgium. They’ll have to deal with Germany in Group D, and all those games will be in Hamburg. If Spain wins the group, I think their 2025 EuroBasket women’s odds could return a solid amount for bettors!
Sleepers in the 2025 EuroBsasket Women’s Odds
Next, let’s consider a couple of teams that could push the favorites at EuroBasket 2025!
Italy (+1800)
Italy hasn’t won a medal at EuroBasket since a runner-up finish in 1995, losing to Ukraine. However, they did win the very-first edition over Lithuania, way back in 1938!
It’s 9 days to go…
But who’s counting, right? 😜#EuroBasketWomen x #DareToDream pic.twitter.com/YYTfwi2mhV— FIBA Women’s EuroBasket (@EuroBasketWomen) June 9, 2025
Golden State’s Celicia Zandalasini is the veteran leader of the team, but watch out for Lorela Cubaj. She led the team in points, rebounds, and assists in qualification. She’ll be asked to do even more as Matilde Villa is out with a torn ACL. Constanza Verona is also being counted on to open up the floor with her outside shooting.
However, Group B will be held in Bologna, so the Italians will hope for some loud crowd support! That should be enough to get Italy to the knockout stage, where they’ll be in tough against the top teams. But if Cubaj has the tournament some expect her to have, watch out for Italy in these EuroBasket women’s 2025 betting odds!
Slovenia (+1800)
Slovenia has never medaled in this tournament as an independent country, although they did medal as a part of the former Yugoslavia. But this might be their best chance yet!

Minnesota’s Jessica Shepard was brilliant for Slovenia during the qualifiers, averaging 21.3 points and 14.3 boards. She is also playing quality minutes for the team at the top of the WNBA championship odds! Eva Lisec and Zala Friskovec can both score the basket, along with Teja Oblak, who led the team in assists. The depth falls off after that group, but those four can be as good as anyone in the tournament!
If Slovenia can avoid injuries to their top four, they could make some noise. They’re in Group B with Italy, and that group-stage game will be crucial. But I’m very intrigued by Slovenia’s EuroBasket women’s 2025 odds!
EuroBasket Women 2025 Betting Pick and Prediction
I think the EuroBasket women’s 2025 betting odds have it right with France and Belgium at the top of the board. Spain could threaten, while Germany, Slovenia, and Italy could all be factors.
But I’m taking Belgium to go back-to-back and repeat as EuroBasket champs! I believe Meesseman and Linskens will be too much in the post for the opposition. They’re an experienced team that knows how to play together. They’ll also be itching to get back against France for the Olympic loss last summer in Paris.
At +350, you can get Belgium for a solid return! I’m putting Belgium as my 2025 EuroBasket women’s betting pick and prediction!
