There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.

KT Wiz vs. KIA Tigers: Under 8.5 (-118)

The KT Wiz and KIA Tigers clash in the opener of a three-game series at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field. It’s shaping up to be a strong pitching matchup with Emmanuel De Jesus and Kim Do-hyeon on the mound.

De Jesus heads to the diamond with a 2.43 ERA and 1.16 WHIP through 13 appearances this season. He has been lights out on the mound, with one run allowed through his previous three starts. Additionally, De Jesus has a strong history against this Tigers’ offense, as he recorded a 0.00 ERA and 0.71 WHIP in seven innings.

Look for De Jesus to go to work and shut down the Tigers’ bats with relative ease on Tuesday. Likewise, the Tigers send a reliable arm to the mound in this matchup, too. Kim goes into his scheduled start today with an ERA of 3.15 and a 1.32 WHIP. He’s allowed three or fewer earned runs in eight consecutive outings!

Last season, he was inconsistent but showed great growth toward the end of the season. In 2025, Kim has been one of the most consistent pitchers in the KBO this season, so I expect him to deliver here as well. In short, I suggest playing the under 8.5 as one of the best KBO picks today!

SSG Landers vs. Kiwoom Heroes: SSG -1.5 (-150)

The lowly Kiwoom Heroes will look to offer some resistance against a good SSG Landers squad. The Landers are scheduled to assign ace Mitch White to the mound for Tuesday’s matchup.

The former Dodger and Blue Jay has found a new home in the KBO and is having success. White enters with a 2.65 ERA and a 4-2 record across 10 appearances. The Korean baseball rookie has looked comfortable right away after failing to catch on in the Majors this year.

Note that White conceded three or fewer earned runs in all 10 of his games, as well as in eight of 10 contests. Expect White to mow down a Heroes squad that is dead last in team batting average and RBIs. This should be a particularly daunting task for White on Tuesday.

Conversely, Kim Yun-ha may run into a couple of issues here. Kim enters with a 6.06 ERA and 1.84 WHIP in 13 starts. He’s a young 20-year-old pitcher who struggled as a rookie last season. Kim still doesn’t appear ready for KBO action, but the Heroes are so depleted that they don’t have many other options.

At 20-50-2 on the season, the Heroes can afford to give Kim experience at the expense of winning games. I recommend backing the Landers to win by more than one run, so consider the runline for your KBO best bets today!

SSG Landers -1.5
