There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.

Kiwoom Heroes vs. NC Dinos: NC Dinos (-139)

In Saturday’s matchup between the Kiwoom Heroes and NC Dinos, the moneyline play on the Dinos at −139 presents a clear edge. Coming off a 16-7 win, the Dinos carry all the momentum into this one.

The Kiwoom Heroes remain the league’s cellar dweller at 28‑65‑3 and desperately hunt for just their 29th win. Their struggles are glaring: worst pitching in the KBO with a 5.60 team ERA and the poorest offense, boasting only a .239 batting average and 333 RBIs in the KBO. They trail the first‑place Hanwha Eagles by a staggering 30 games.

On the mound, the Dinos’ Shin Min‑hyeok holds a respectable 4.32 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. He’s pitched exceptionally of late, allowing just two earned runs over his last 9.2 innings, and has held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in seven of nine outings since May 21.

Meanwhile, Kiwoom’s starter, Raul Alcántara, has been hammered over his last 11.1 innings, surrendering 10 earned runs. Expect NC’s hitters to capitalize and pick up the win cleanly. The Dinos on the moneyline is the smart play.

LG Twins vs. Doosan Bears: LG Twins (-145)

The LG Twins look to punch above their weight as they send Im Chan‑kyu to the mound. The 32‑year‑old veteran is 8–3 with a sharp 2.90 ERA this season, staking a claim among the elite starters in the KBO.

Considering his consistent track record, posting ERAs of 3.42 in 2023 and 3.83 in 2024, he’s built up steam and now looks poised to shut down the opposition.

On the offensive side, the Twins bring elite firepower. They lead the league with 452 RBIs and hold a 54–39–2 record, sitting second overall in the standings. Their lineup has been relentless all season long and should remain a handful for the Doosan Bears.

While Im takes the ball for LG, Doosan’s Gwak Been looms as a troublesome matchup. On June 21, he surrendered four earned runs on seven hits in a tough outing against these same Twins, ending with a 6.00 ERA in that matchup.

That history underscores why backing LG on the moneyline today stands out as one of the sharpest picks on the KBO board.
