Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), August 15
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
KT Wiz vs. Kiwoom Heroes: KT Wiz -1.5 (-105)
The KT Wiz look poised to take control in the series opener at the Gocheok Sky Dome. With the Heroes ranking last in the KBO in team batting average (.240) and RBIs (401), their offense offers little resistance.
On the bump, Wiz starter Ko Young‑pyo brings a dependable 9‑4 record, 3.01 ERA, and 1.24 WHIP. He’s blanked opponents, or allowed just one earned run in five of his last six outings, and should be more than capable of holding the Heroes’ meek attack in check on Friday.

Opposing him is C. C. Mercedes, a recent KBO debutant coming off a respectable two‑earned‑run effort over 5.1 innings against Doosan. Yet, his 1.88 WHIP hints at trouble controlling baserunners. Against an offense like the Wiz, a few free passes could spiral quickly.
All signs point to a comfortable victory for KT by two or more runs.
LG Twins vs. SSG Landers: Under 8.5 (-107)
The under presents solid value in the series opener between the LG Twins and SSG Landers.
Yonny Chirinos of the LG Twins enters Friday in a groove, sporting a 3.44 ERA and 1.17 WHIP through 22 games. The former Tampa Bay Ray has held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in each of his last three outings, showcasing the kind of consistency bettors can bank on.
Across the diamond, Mitch White has quietly been one of the more reliable arms in the KBO. With a 2.83 ERA and 1.15 WHIP over 92.1 innings, the former MLB starter allowed two or fewer earned runs in four of his last five starts. His ability to limit damage has been key for an SSG staff that’s leaned heavily on his outings.
With both starters in strong form and neither offense lighting it up recently, the under is where the value sits in this one.
