Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 18
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
Kiwoom Heroes vs. Doosan Bears: Doosan Bears -1.5 (+105)
Kiwoom remains a mess this season, with the worst record, worst batting average, and a team ERA that’s been brutal. Ha Yeong‑min’s recent form (5.30 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and 17 earned over his last four) offers little confidence. Meanwhile, Doosan’s starter, Zach Logue, has been solid. He’s had a strong season in terms of stats, and he’s been very effective in recent games.
Head‑to‑head and form trends also tilt heavily toward the Bears. Doosan has been having success against Kiwoom, especially when Logue takes the mound. Moreover, Kiwoom’s pitching and offense both seem unable to keep pace with a Bears’ lineup that’s riding some momentum.

Given all that, backing Doosan to cover the runline is the smart move. The total also looks likely to go over, given the mismatch. Expect Doosan to put up a few early runs and not let Kiwoom hang around.
Hanwha Eagles vs. KIA Tigers: Under 9 (-118)
This one sets up nicely for the Under at 9 runs. Hanwha’s Yun San-heum has been a quiet force out of the bullpen, working to a 2.31 ERA and 1.29 WHIP across his first nine appearances of 2025.
He’s kept opposing bats in check, allowing zero runs in six of his last seven outings. If he sees middle-inning work again here, the Eagles should be able to hold the line.
On the other side, Adam Oller has found his rhythm for KIA. The right-hander enters with a 3.64 ERA and a solid 10-6 record. More importantly, he’s handled Hanwha well this year, holding them to a 3.00 ERA over three starts. His command has been sharp, and he’s shown the ability to neutralize weaker lineups.

With both pitchers in form and neither offense setting the league on fire, this profiles as a controlled game on the scoreboard. Under 9 is the play.
