Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), April 23

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

NC Dinos vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Dinos -1.5 (-175)

The NC Dinos hold a clear edge in this matchup and are well-positioned to win comfortably against a struggling Kiwoom team. This sets up as one of the stronger runline plays on the board.

Koo Chang-mo takes the mound for NC and continues to be one of the most reliable pitchers in the KBO. He enters with a 2.82 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across 22.1 innings and has now posted an ERA of 2.96 or better in four straight seasons. His consistency, command, and ability to limit damage make him a major advantage in this spot.

Kiwoom counters with Kim Yeon-ju, who is making his first start of the 2026 season after struggling over the past two years. He posted ERAs of 6.61 and 6.62 and has yet to show signs of improvement. In his last outing against NC, he allowed four earned runs in just three innings.

Offensively, the Heroes continue to lag behind the rest of the league, ranking last with a .233 team batting average and minimal power production.

With a dominant ace on the mound and facing one of the weakest teams in the KBO, NC is in a strong position to win by multiple runs. Back the Dinos on the runline as a top play.

SSG Landers vs. Samsung Lions: Landers (-150)

The SSG Landers have the edge in this matchup and look like a strong moneyline play, especially with a favorable pitching setup against a struggling Samsung starter.

Mitch White gets the ball for SSG and, despite a slow start to 2026 (5.23 ERA), there are clear signs of a turnaround. He was excellent last season with a 2.87 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in his first year in the KBO, and he’s coming off a sharp outing where he allowed no runs and just two hits against Doosan. That performance suggests he’s beginning to find his rhythm.

Samsung counters with Jack O’Loughlin, who has had difficulty adjusting in his first KBO season. He enters with a 5.63 ERA and 1.50 WHIP across four starts, continuing to show inconsistency and issues with command.

With White trending upward and O’Loughlin still searching for form, SSG holds the advantage on the mound. Add in the Landers’ overall roster stability, and this becomes a favorable spot. Back SSG on the moneyline as one of the stronger KBO picks today.
