Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), April 25

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

KT Wiz vs. SSG Landers: Wiz (-130)

The KT Wiz remain one of the hottest offensive teams in the KBO and are in a favorable spot to capitalize on a major pitching mismatch. With their lineup producing at a high level, KT should be controlling this matchup.

The Wiz lead the league with a .283 team batting average and 131 RBIs, consistently generating pressure and scoring opportunities. That production is a major advantage against a struggling starter like Takeda Shota.

Shota has had a brutal start to his first KBO season, posting a 13.03 ERA and 2.59 WHIP while allowing 14 earned runs and 18 hits in just 9.2 innings. His inability to limit baserunners and avoid big innings makes him highly vulnerable against a potent offense like KT’s.

KT counters with Ko Young-pyo, who hasn’t been sharp early (5.85 ERA, 1.80 WHIP), but his long-term track record suggests improvement is coming. With a career 3.96 ERA and 1.27 WHIP, he’s a much more reliable option than his current numbers indicate.

With a massive edge in offense and facing a struggling opposing starter, KT is well-positioned to take control. Back the Wiz on the moneyline as one of the top KBO bets today.

Samsung Lions vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Lions -1.5 (-125)

The Samsung Lions are in a strong position to win this game comfortably, facing a Kiwoom Heroes’ team that continues to struggle near the bottom of the standings. At 8-15, Kiwoom has shown little improvement and remains one of the weakest teams in the KBO.

Offensively, the Heroes have been especially poor, ranking last in the league with a .237 batting average and just 11 home runs. Their lack of power and run production makes them a favorable matchup for opposing pitchers. Meanwhile, the Lions are second in the KBO, with a batting average of .272.

Won Tae-in gets the start for Samsung and should have the edge here. While his early numbers (4.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP) are modest, his track record is much stronger, posting sub-4.00 ERAs in five consecutive seasons. This matchup against a weak Kiwoom lineup is an ideal spot for him to get back on track.

With the advantage on the mound and facing one of the league’s least productive offenses, Samsung should be able to control this game from start to finish. I suggest backing the Lions on the runline as one of the best KBO picks today.
