Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), April 28
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
SSG Landers vs. Hanwha Eagles: Under 9.5 (-110)
This matchup profiles as a strong under play, with both teams sending in-form starters to the mound and neither showing signs of giving up big innings.
Choi Min-jun gets the ball for SSG and has been excellent to begin the season. He owns a 0.98 ERA and 1.25 WHIP across 18.1 innings, allowing no runs in three of his four appearances. He’s also limited hits effectively, giving up three or fewer in three outings, which points to strong command and control.
Hanwha counters with Wang Yen-cheng, who has also been highly reliable. He enters with a 2.28 ERA and 1.30 WHIP over 27.2 innings, consistently keeping opponents in check. Wang has allowed one or zero runs in three of his five starts and has yet to give up more than three runs in any outing this season.
With both starters capable of working deep into games and limiting damage, scoring opportunities should be limited on both sides.
Given the pitching consistency and lack of blow-up performances from either arm, this game sets up as a controlled, low-scoring battle. Back the under 9.5 as one of the best KBO bets today.
LG Twins vs. KT Wiz: Twins (-150)
The LG Twins continue to look like the defending champions, entering this matchup in strong form and gaining momentum with five wins in their last seven games. At 16-8, they’re playing like one of the top teams in the KBO and are well-positioned in this showdown against KT.

Lachlan Wells gets the start for LG and has been outstanding. He owns a 1.44 ERA and 0.80 WHIP through four starts, consistently limiting damage. Wells has allowed two or fewer runs in every outing and one or none in three of them, showing elite command and efficiency. He’s also done a great job suppressing hits, giving up four or fewer in three starts.
KT counters with Matthew Sauer, who has been solid, but not at the same level. He enters with a 4.08 ERA and 1.33 WHIP and has already struggled against LG, allowing three earned runs over five innings in a previous meeting.
With a clear edge in starting pitching and better overall form, LG has the advantage in this matchup. The Twins on the moneyline are one of our KBO best bets today.
