Washington Mystics vs. Indiana Fever (-8) (-105)

Indiana heads home with some momentum, and this looks like a strong spot for the Fever to keep building after Wednesday’s 87-78 win over Los Angeles.

Caitlin Clark controlled the game with 24 points and nine assists, while Kelsey Mitchell added 23 points as Indiana forced 19 turnovers and showed a much sharper defensive effort than it did earlier in the week against Dallas. That defensive pressure could be a major factor again in this matchup.

Washington pushed New York to overtime on Sunday before losing 98-93, but the Mystics still showed some offensive limitations. Kiki Iriafen finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Sonia Citron added 17 points, though the Mystics struggled badly from deep, hitting just 5-of-26 attempts from three-point range.

If Indiana brings the same defensive intensity it showed against LA, the Fever should be able to create enough extra possessions to separate. With Clark pushing the tempo and Washington still searching for consistent outside shooting, Indiana is in a strong position to cover this number at home at WNBA betting sites.

Toronto Tempo (+7.5) vs. Los Angeles Sparks (-110)

Toronto looks like a live underdog in this matchup, especially with the way Los Angeles has opened the season.

The Tempo (1-1) picked up the first win in franchise history on Wednesday with an impressive 86-73 victory over Seattle. Marina Mabrey led the way with 26 points and knocked down six of her 11 attempts from three-point range. Toronto also controlled the offensive glass with a 9-3 edge, creating valuable second chance opportunities throughout the night.

Los Angeles (0-2) is still searching for answers after falling 87-78 at home to Indiana. Kelsey Plum scored 25 points, and Dearica Hamby added 16 points with eight rebounds, but the Sparks struggled badly from the perimeter, shooting just 2-of-15 from beyond the arc. Turnovers were another major problem as LA gave it away 19 times.

Toronto already looks competitive defensively, and if the Tempo can continue forcing tough possessions while winning the effort areas on the glass, they should be in position to stay within this number. With the Sparks still trying to find consistency, the points carry solid value here.

The Bet
Toronto Tempo +7.5
