Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), May 16
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Kiwoom Heroes vs. NC Dinos: Dinos -1.5 (+110)
The NC Dinos look like a strong runline play against the struggling Kiwoom Heroes, especially with ace Koo Chang-moo on the mound.
Koo enters this matchup with a 3.96 ERA and 1.19 WHIP across 38.2 innings. While he’s coming off a rough outing against the Samsung Lions, he has consistently been one of the top pitchers in the KBO when healthy and should be in a prime bounce-back spot here. He has dominated Kiwoom this season, posting a 1.50 ERA and 0.83 WHIP against the Heroes.

Kiwoom continues to struggle offensively and remains near the bottom of the league with a .226 team batting average and only 124 RBIs. Generating consistent offense has been a major issue, and facing a pitcher of Koo’s caliber only makes things tougher.
The Heroes counter with Kenny Rosenberg, who is making his first start of the 2026 season. Rosenberg showed promise in limited action last year with a 3.23 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, but that came over only four appearances. There’s still uncertainty around how he’ll perform over a larger sample against a capable NC lineup.
With the better starter, stronger offense, and a favorable matchup against one of the weakest teams in the KBO, the Dinos are in a good spot to win comfortably. Back NC on the runline as one of the best KBO bets today.
LG Twins vs. SSG Landers: Twins (-130)
The LG Twins look like a solid play on the moneyline as they continue pushing toward the top of the KBO standings. At 24-16, the defending champions are right behind the league-leading KT Wiz and have been playing strong baseball on both sides.
Yi Jung-yong gets the start for LG and has been serviceable overall with a 4.58 ERA and 1.58 WHIP. More importantly, he has pitched better against SSG specifically, posting a 3.86 ERA versus the Landers. Yi has shown the ability to settle in against this lineup and should benefit from solid run support once again.
The Twins’ offense continues to produce at a high level, carrying a .272 team batting average into this matchup. LG has consistently generated scoring chances and remains one of the more balanced lineups in the league.
SSG sends Choi Min-jun to the mound, but he has cooled off considerably after a strong start. Choi has allowed seven earned runs over his last 7.1 innings, showing signs of regression and making this a difficult spot against a dangerous LG offense.
So, the Twins on the moneyline are one of the best KBO bets today.
