Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), May 20

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

LG Twins vs. KIA Twins: Twins (-130)

The LG Twins look like a strong moneyline play against the KIA Tigers, especially with the pitching matchup favoring the defending champions. Song Seung-ki gets the start for LG and has shown solid form against KIA this season.

While his overall numbers sit at a 4.19 ERA and 1.40 WHIP, he has been far more effective versus the Tigers, posting a 2.08 ERA and 1.15 WHIP in their meetings this year. Song has the ability to limit hard contact and should be in a good spot against this lineup again.

KIA counters with veteran Yang Hyeon-jong, who has struggled with consistency throughout the season. Yang enters with a 4.66 ERA and 1.45 WHIP and has allowed seven earned runs over his last 9.1 innings. His problems have been even more noticeable against LG, as he owns a 6.75 ERA and 1.75 WHIP against the Twins in 2026.

The Twins continue to play strong baseball and remain one of the most balanced teams in the KBO. With the edge in recent pitching form and a favorable matchup against Yang, LG is positioned well to take control of this game. Back the Twins on the moneyline as one of the best KBO bets today.

SSG Landers vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Landers -1.5 (-125)

The SSG Landers look like a strong bounce-back candidate against the struggling Kiwoom Heroes, making the runline one of the better KBO plays today. Kiwoom continues to sit at the bottom of the standings at 17-26-1 and has struggled on both sides of the ball all season.

The Heroes rank last in the KBO with a .228 team batting average, 24 home runs, and 134 RBIs. Their pitching staff has been just as shaky, carrying a league-worst 5.18 ERA.

Ha Yeong-min gets the start for Kiwoom and enters with a 4.73 ERA and 1.52 WHIP. He has had trouble limiting baserunners and faces a difficult matchup against an SSG lineup capable of putting pressure on opposing pitching staffs.

The Landers counter with Anthony Veneziano, who has pitched effectively against Kiwoom this season. Veneziano owns a 3.38 ERA and 1.31 WHIP versus the Heroes and has allowed two or fewer earned runs in two of his last three starts.

With the stronger lineup, better pitching outlook, and Kiwoom continuing to struggle across the board, SSG is in a favorable spot to win comfortably. So, the Landers on the runline are one of the top KBO bets today.
