Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), May 28
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Hanwha Eagles vs. NC Dinos: Eagles (-135)
The Hanwha Eagles stand out as one of the stronger KBO picks today with Wang Yen-cheng taking the mound against the NC Dinos.
Wang has been one of Hanwha’s most reliable starters this season, carrying a 2.72 ERA across 10 starts while consistently limiting damage. He has allowed three or fewer earned runs in every outing and two or fewer in seven of those appearances, giving the Eagles a steady edge on the pitching side.
Hanwha should also benefit from superior offensive support. The Eagles have been one of the league’s best hitting teams, batting around .280 as a club while leading the KBO in RBIs and ranking among the top scoring offenses overall.
NC counters with Kim Tae-hyeong, but there are workload concerns given he has not worked deep into games this year. That puts added pressure on a Dinos pitching staff that has struggled with consistency throughout the season.
With the better starter, stronger lineup, and home-field momentum, Hanwha looks worth backing at -135 in this KBO matchup.
KT Wiz vs. Doosan Bears: Bears (-115)
The Doosan Bears have value as a slight underdog against the KT Wiz with Gwak Been on the mound. Been has quietly been one of Doosan’s steadier starters this season, posting an ERA around the mid-3.00 range while consistently limiting damage deep into games.

He’s allowed two or fewer earned runs in six of his last eight starts and continues to give the Bears a reliable edge whenever he takes the ball. KT counters with Ko Young-pyo, but recent form is a concern.
He enters this matchup with a 5.33 ERA and has struggled badly in recent outings, allowing 12 earned runs across his last three starts. That inconsistency could be costly against a Doosan lineup capable of producing timely offense.
While KT has been one of the better offensive teams in the KBO this year, the Bears should feel confident with Gwak Been controlling the matchup early.
If Been delivers another quality outing, Doosan has a strong chance to cash as a home underdog at plus money.
