Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), May 29

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

KT Wiz vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Wiz -1.5 (+100)

The KT Wiz are in a strong position to win comfortably against the struggling Kiwoom Heroes, making the runline an attractive play at even money.

Kiwoom continues to sit near the bottom of the KBO standings at 20-30-1 and has struggled in nearly every category this season. The Heroes rank last with a .232 team batting average and only 162 RBIs, while their pitching staff has also been shaky with a 5.01 ERA.

Meanwhile, KT owns one of the most dangerous offenses in the league. The Wiz lead the KBO with a .287 batting average and rank near the top with 277 RBIs, giving them a clear offensive advantage in this matchup.

Matthew Sauer gets the start for KT and should receive plenty of run support. On the other side, Kiwoom starter Bae Dong-hyun enters with a 4.54 ERA and 1.61 WHIP and has struggled badly against the Wiz this season, posting a 6.23 ERA in the matchup.

With the stronger lineup, better overall form, and a favorable pitching matchup, KT is well-positioned to pull away and cover the runline. Back the Wiz -1.5 as one of the best KBO bets today.

KIA Tigers vs. LG Twins: Twins (-140)

The LG Twins look like one of the strongest plays on the KBO slate with Lachlan Wells taking the mound. Wells has been excellent in his second KBO season, entering this matchup with a 2.06 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 39.1 innings.

He has consistently limited baserunners and kept opposing offenses under control, and he’s already had success against KIA this year with a 1.50 ERA in the matchup.

KIA counters with Lee Eui-lee, who has struggled badly throughout the season. Lee enters with an 8.37 ERA, a 1-5 record, and a concerning 1.98 WHIP, showing major issues with command and traffic on the bases. His recent form has been even worse, allowing 12 earned runs over his last three starts.

That sets up well for an LG lineup capable of taking advantage of pitching mistakes and generating consistent offense. With Wells in dominant form and the Tigers’ starter continuing to struggle, the Twins have a clear edge both on the mound and overall.

Consider LG on the moneyline as one of the best KBO picks today.
