Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), June 2
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
NC Dinos vs. Samsung Lions: Lions -1.5 (-135)
The Samsung Lions look like one of the strongest runline plays on the KBO card, thanks to a significant edge on the mound and a favorable matchup against a struggling NC starter.
Ariel Jurado continues to pitch like one of the league’s elite arms. Through 11 starts, Jurado owns a stellar 2.17 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 70.2 innings. He has allowed two or fewer earned runs in eight of his last 10 outings, providing the Lions with a consistent ace capable of shutting down opposing lineups and working deep into games.

Samsung’s offense has also been productive, ranking near the top of the KBO with a .278 team batting average. That balance of strong pitching and reliable run production makes the Lions a dangerous favorite.
The Dinos counter with Todd Natsuki, who enters with a 4.34 ERA and 1.47 WHIP through nine starts. While those numbers are respectable on the surface, he has struggled badly against Samsung this season, posting a 13.50 ERA and 3.00 WHIP in limited action against the Lions. If those issues continue, Samsung’s offense should be able to generate plenty of scoring opportunities.
With Jurado in ace form and a clear edge in the pitching matchup, the Lions are well-positioned to win by multiple runs. Back Samsung on the runline as one of the best KBO bets today.
Hanwha Eagles vs. Doosan Bears: Bears (-130)
The Doosan Bears look like a solid moneyline play in this series opener, largely because of the pitching advantage provided by Wes Benjamin.
Benjamin has been one of Doosan’s most reliable starters, carrying a 2.61 ERA and 1.35 WHIP through 41.1 innings. More importantly, he enters this matchup in outstanding form, having tossed 15 consecutive scoreless innings across his last two starts. That recent stretch suggests he is pitching at his highest level of the season.
Doosan's Wes Benjamin faced his former team and pitched 7 scoreless innings, giving up only 2 hits, with 5K's as the Bears beat KT 5-0 https://t.co/n3ik3phCUZ

Hanwha counters with rookie Park Jun-young, who has posted respectable numbers with a 3.55 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. However, this is still a relatively inexperienced arm facing a tougher test against a quality Doosan lineup, while Benjamin offers the more proven track record and greater reliability in a matchup expected to be decided by pitching.
Consider the Bears on the moneyline as one of the best KBO picks today.
