Chicago Sky vs. Washington Mystics (-1) (-105)

The Washington Mystics laying one point at home is the play against the Chicago Sky.

Chicago (3-5) is in a tough spot after dropping four straight, including a 79-58 home loss to Minnesota. Kamilla Cardoso and Skylar Diggins had 12 points each, but the Sky shot just 29% from the field, and their injuries are clearly starting to catch up with them.

Washington (3-4) is also coming off a loss, falling 92-87 at home to Los Angeles, but there were more positives to take from that performance. Shakira Austin had a big night with 25 points and 10 rebounds, and the Mystics shot 51% from the field.

The defense needs to be better, but Washington has the healthier roster and have more reliable scoring right now. With Chicago struggling to create offense, I like the Mystics to cover the short spread at home at WNBA betting sites.

Connecticut Sun vs. Atlanta Dream (-14) (-108)

The Atlanta Dream have been one of the WNBA’s most consistent teams through the opening weeks, and they look well positioned to handle a struggling Connecticut Sun squad.

Connecticut (2-8) snapped a three-game losing stretch with an 84-81 win over Los Angeles, getting a strong performance from Aneesah Morrow, who finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Kennedy Burke chipped in 14 points off the bench as the Sun produced one of their better offensive outings of the season. Even so, Connecticut has struggled to generate consistent scoring from game to game.

Atlanta (5-2) is coming off an impressive 86-66 road win in Portland. Angel Reese led the way with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while the Dream controlled the glass on both ends of the floor. Their physicality and depth have been major strengths all season.

With Atlanta holding clear advantages in talent, rebounding, and overall form, the Dream should be able to dictate the matchup from start to finish. Expect them to pull away and cover the big number at home.
