Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), June 3
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Hanwha Eagles vs. Doosan Bears: Eagles (-160)
The Hanwha Eagles are in a favorable bounce-back spot and appear to hold clear advantages both on the mound and at the plate.
Wang Yan-cheng gets the start for Hanwha and has been dependable throughout the season, posting a 3.24 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. He has been particularly effective against Doosan, recording a 1.35 ERA and a 2-0 record against the Bears this year. His ability to navigate this lineup gives Hanwha a strong foundation heading into the matchup.

Doosan is expected to start Park Shin-zi, who has struggled badly. Park owns a 10.50 ERA and 1.83 WHIP and has primarily worked as a reliever before being pushed into a starting role. Given his results and limited experience as a starter, Doosan could be forced into its bullpen early.
The offensive matchup also favors Hanwha. The Eagles rank near the top of the KBO with a .282 team batting average and lead the league with 317 RBIs, while the Bears have been much less productive offensively, batting .258 as a team.
With a proven starter, a substantial offensive edge, and a questionable opposing pitching situation, Hanwha has a strong chance to control this game from the outset.
Kiwoom Heroes vs. SSG Landers: Landers (-105)
The SSG Landers look like the stronger side in this matchup and offer solid value at near even-money odds.
Kiwoom is coming off an offensive outburst, but the larger sample remains concerning. The Heroes continue to rank near the bottom of the KBO offensively, batting just .233 as a team with only 33 home runs and 183 RBIs. One big game doesn’t necessarily erase months of inconsistent production.

The Landers turn to Baek Seung-geon, who has been serviceable in a swing role this season. In his lone start, he allowed just one run and one hit across four innings, showing enough effectiveness to give SSG a chance to hand the game over to its bullpen with a lead.
Kiwoom counters with Kenny Rosenberg, whose 3.18 ERA looks respectable, but there are some warning signs beneath the surface. His 1.59 WHIP indicates frequent traffic on the bases, and he was tagged for three earned runs and nine hits in his most recent outing. With only a handful of appearances this season, there is still uncertainty about whether he can maintain that ERA.
Given Kiwoom’s ongoing offensive struggles and the fact that Rosenberg’s underlying numbers are less impressive than his ERA suggests, the Landers have a reasonable edge at home.
