Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), June 18
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Hanwha Eagles vs. NC Dinos: Eagles (-115)
The Eagles are in a favorable bounce-back spot after a narrow loss and have the edge thanks to a combination of strong recent pitching and one of the KBO’s most productive offenses.
Wilkel Hernandez enters this start with a 4.03 ERA and 1.41 WHIP, but those season-long numbers don’t fully reflect how well he has pitched recently. Hernandez has allowed two earned runs or fewer in eight consecutive outings and has been especially effective against NC, posting a 1.29 ERA against the Dinos this season.
The Dinos counter with Curtis Taylor, who carries a 4.91 ERA and 1.41 WHIP. His recent form is concerning, as he has surrendered 16 runs over his last five appearances. That becomes a bigger issue against a Hanwha lineup that can score in bunches.
Hanwha’s offense has been among the league’s best, leading the KBO with 73 home runs and 368 RBIs while remaining one of the stronger clubs in overall run production. The Eagles have consistently provided run support for their starters and are well-positioned to pressure Taylor throughout the game.
The matchup also aligns with current team trends, so I suggest the Eagles for one of the best KBO bets today.
Kiwoom Heroes vs. Samsung Lions: Lions -1.5 (-105)
The Lions are in a strong position to complete another convincing win over Kiwoom, especially given the ongoing offensive struggles of the Heroes.
Kiwoom continues to rank at the bottom of the KBO offensively, posting a .233 team batting average while also sitting near the bottom in home runs and RBIs. Consistent run production has been difficult to find, making this a favorable matchup for Samsung’s pitching staff.
Jack O’Loughlin has quietly put together a strong season with a 3.88 ERA and 1.23 WHIP across 13 appearances. He enters this game off one of his best outings of the year, allowing just one hit and no runs over six innings against a potent KT Wiz lineup. O’Loughlin has also handled the Heroes well, posting a 1.50 ERA against them in 2026.

Kiwoom counters with An Woo-jin, whose overall 3.82 ERA looks solid, but recent results are less encouraging. He has allowed eight earned runs across his last two starts, and even if he pitches reasonably well, the lack of offensive support behind him remains a concern.
Samsung holds advantages in both offensive upside and current pitching form. If O’Loughlin continues his success against Kiwoom’s league-worst lineup, the Lions should have opportunities to create separation as the game progresses.
