Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), July 7

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

SSG Landers vs. Doosan Bears: Bears -1.5 (-105)

The Bears are in an excellent position to cover the runline with one of the KBO’s most reliable starters on the mound and a favorable matchup against a rookie who has struggled early in his career.

Wes Benjamin continues to be a cornerstone of Doosan’s rotation, posting a 2.66 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in his fourth KBO season. His consistency has been outstanding, allowing two or fewer earned runs in seven of his last nine starts while routinely giving the Bears a chance to build an early lead.

The Landers counter with Kim Min-jun, who has experienced a difficult introduction to the KBO. The rookie enters with a 5.60 ERA and 1.53 WHIP through four starts and has yet to establish the consistency needed to handle a quality lineup like Doosan’s.

The pitching matchup strongly favors the Bears. Benjamin has consistently worked deep into games while limiting scoring opportunities, whereas Kim has struggled to keep runners off the bases and is still adjusting to top-level competition.

With Doosan holding a significant edge on the mound and facing an inexperienced starter, the Bears have a strong opportunity to create separation as the game progresses for one of the best KBO bets today.

Kiwoom Heroes vs. KT Wiz: Wiz (-145)

The Wiz are in a favorable bounce-back spot against the KBO’s weakest offensive team. While the starting pitching matchup is relatively competitive, KT’s significant edge at the plate makes the moneyline an attractive play.

So Hyeong-jun gets the start for the Wiz after putting together another solid campaign. He enters with a 3.67 ERA and 1.41 WHIP and draws an ideal matchup against a Kiwoom lineup that has struggled to generate offense all season.

The Heroes counter with An Woo-jin, who owns a respectable 3.60 ERA. While An has pitched well enough to keep games competitive, he receives little offensive support from a Kiwoom club that ranks last in the KBO in both batting average and RBIs.

That offensive gap is the biggest difference in this matchup. KT leads the league with a .281 team batting average, while the Heroes sit at the bottom with a .233 mark. With the Wiz consistently creating scoring opportunities and Kiwoom struggling to produce runs, KT has a clear overall advantage.

Even if the two starters perform similarly, the Wiz’s superior lineup should provide the run support needed to separate over the course of the game.

KT Wiz
Lucky Rebel
-145
