Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), July 9
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
SSG Landers vs. Doosan Bears: Bears (-150)
The Bears have a clear advantage in this matchup, thanks to a favorable starting pitching matchup and a veteran arm that has consistently performed well against the Landers. They are coming off an impressive 7-3 victory on Tuesday.

Zach Logue takes the mound for Doosan after putting together a steady campaign. He enters with a 4.12 ERA and 1.34 WHIP while allowing three or fewer earned runs in four of his last five starts. Logue has also enjoyed success against SSG this season, posting a 1.42 ERA across 6.1 innings.
The Landers counter with Thomas Hatch, whose transition to the KBO has been difficult. Hatch owns a 7.08 ERA and 1.77 WHIP through his first four starts and has allowed 16 earned runs during that span. His struggles adapting to the league make this a challenging matchup against a disciplined Doosan lineup.
The contrast between the two starters gives the Bears a significant edge. Logue has delivered consistent quality outings and already proven he can handle SSG, while Hatch continues searching for answers after a rough start to his KBO career.
With the stronger pitcher on the mound and momentum in their favor, Doosan has the tools to control this game from the opening innings.
NC Dinos vs. Hanwha Eagles: Under 9.5 (-125)
This matchup features two of the KBO’s more reliable starters and profiles as a low-scoring affair. With both pitchers in excellent form, runs could be difficult to come by throughout the game.
Koo Chang-mo has been outstanding for the Dinos, posting a 3.44 ERA and 1.16 WHIP while finding another level in recent weeks. He has allowed one run or fewer in three of his last four starts and has surrendered no more than three earned runs in six consecutive outings. Koo has also excelled against Hanwha this season, recording a 1.50 ERA in the matchup.
NC's Koo Chang-mo pitched 6 scoreless innings, giving up 6 hits, with 6K's to help lead the Dinos to the 4-2 win over Kiwoom https://t.co/BBmm78gwDv

The Eagles counter with Owen White, who has been one of the KBO’s most impressive newcomers. White enters with a 2.84 ERA and 1.11 WHIP through 10 starts and is coming off back-to-back scoreless outings spanning 12.2 innings. He has also limited opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of his last six appearances.
With both starters consistently working deep into games and limiting hard contact, this projects as a classic pitching duel. Koo’s success against Hanwha and White’s recent dominance further support a game played at a slower pace, so the under 9.5 is one of the best KBO bets today.
