They’ve already beaten Toronto twice this year, including a 100-93 win at home on Tuesday. That kind of recent head-to-head dominance matters, and it matters even more when you look at what Toronto is missing.

The Tempo (10-17) are without Brittany Sykes, Isabelle Harrison, and Nyara Sabally for this one. That’s a significant chunk of their roster, and it comes at the worst possible time. Toronto already operates with the second-worst defense in the league, so losing key contributors only makes a bad situation worse against a Lynx team that’s been clicking offensively.

Yes, Kiki Rice is back for Toronto, and that’s a positive sign for the franchise long-term. But one returning player doesn’t offset three absences and a defense that’s been getting torched all season. The Tempo are 5-9 ATS at home, meaning they have struggled to keep games close even on their own floor. Laying 12 points at WNBA betting sites with Minnesota feels like the right call here.

The Liberty (16-12) are dealing with a significant injury situation heading into this one. Leonie Fiebich, Satou Sabally, and Marine Johannes are all out, which strips New York of meaningful depth and firepower. That kind of personnel loss makes it extremely difficult to keep pace with a healthy Aces’ squad, especially on the road.

New York’s road struggles back this up in a big way. The Liberty are just 3-11 ATS away from home. That number is one of the worst in the league, and a shorthanded roster is only going to make things worse. Add in a defense that has been inconsistent, and Las Vegas (19-8) has every opportunity to control this game from start to finish.

The Aces looked sharp offensively in Portland on Tuesday, and their defense is the more reliable unit in this matchup. Las Vegas at home, coming off a strong performance, against a banged-up Liberty team that can’t cover spreads on the road? That’s a recipe for a comfortable cover.
