Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 3
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Lotte Giants vs. Samsung Lions: Lions -1.5 (-120)
The Samsung Lions have a clear advantage over the Lotte Giants and stand out as a strong runline play. Samsung holds a significant edge offensively, while the pitching matchup also leans toward the Lions.
Lotte continues to struggle to generate consistent offense, ranking third-last in the KBO with a .268 team batting average and 517 RBIs. The Giants have also lacked power, hitting just 91 home runs. Along with Kiwoom, Lotte is one of only two teams in the league yet to reach 100 home runs.
Samsung, meanwhile, has been the KBO’s top offensive team. The Lions lead the league with a .281 team batting average and have driven in 655 RBIs. That offensive production has helped Samsung climb to the top of the standings with an impressive 70-44-3 record.

The pitching matchup also gives the Lions an advantage. Won Tae-in takes the mound for Samsung with a 4.33 ERA and 1.36 WHIP, while the Giants counter with Jeremy Beasley, who owns a higher 4.80 ERA.
With the league’s most productive offense facing a struggling Lotte lineup and Samsung holding the edge on the mound, the Lions have a strong opportunity to create separation. They should win by multiple runs for one of the best KBO bets today.
LG Twins vs. Doosan Bears: Bears (-180)
The Doosan Bears have the clear edge over the LG Twins, with ace Gwak Been providing a major advantage on the mound. While the Twins are listed at -180, the pitching matchup strongly favors Doosan and makes the Bears the preferred side in this matchup.
Gwak has been one of the most dominant pitchers in the KBO this season, entering with a league-leading 2.36 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. He has consistently shut down opposing lineups and is in another favorable spot against the Twins.
Been Gwak continued his dominance this weekend. He went 7 shutout innings with 8 K and just 1 hit allowed. He leads the KBO with a 2.33 ERA and 161 strikeouts. If he keeps current pace, he’d be the first Korean-born starter to post a sub-2.40 ERA and 10.7 K/9 in KBO history pic.twitter.com/do8LgtrR3t

He’s also pitched well specifically against LG, posting a 2.38 ERA versus the Twins in 2026. That success is especially encouraging heading into this matchup, as he has already proven capable of navigating this lineup.
The Twins counter with Park Si-won, who enters with a 5.20 ERA and 1.71 WHIP. The former reliever has recently moved into the starting rotation and is still struggling to adjust. Park was hit hard for six runs in his latest outing against the NC Dinos, raising further concerns about his ability to keep Doosan’s offense under control.
The pitching discrepancy is significant. Gwak gives Doosan one of the league’s most reliable starters, while LG is relying on a pitcher carrying a 5.20 ERA and 1.71 WHIP who is coming off a rough performance.
