Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 4
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
NC Dinos vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Dinos (-155)
The NC Dinos have a strong edge to win outright over the Kiwoom Heroes, with Riley Thompson giving them a major advantage on the mound. At -155, NC is in a favorable spot against the KBO’s weakest offense.
Thompson has been excellent throughout the 2026 season, posting a 2.92 ERA and 1.04 WHIP across 17 appearances and 101.2 innings. He’s entering this matchup in outstanding form, allowing two or fewer runs in six consecutive starts and three or fewer in nine straight.
The matchup against Kiwoom has been favorable for Thompson, too. He owns a 2.50 ERA against the Heroes across three starts this season and has allowed two or fewer runs in all three outings.
Kiwoom counters with An Woo-jin, who has been respectable with a 3.70 ERA, but the Heroes have struggled to provide him with run support. Kiwoom remains dead last in the KBO with a .243 team batting average, 90 home runs, and 451 RBIs.

Back the NC Dinos on the moneyline at -155. Thompson is in excellent form, has already dominated Kiwoom this season, and now faces the league’s weakest offense. NC has the clear pitching edge and is the side to back outright.
Hanwha Eagles vs. Lotte Giants: Giants (-130)
The Lotte Giants are in a favorable spot to beat the Hanwha Eagles on Friday, with the pitching matchup giving them a clear advantage at home. Kim Jin-uk has been far more dependable than Eagles’ starter Park Jun-yeong, making Lotte the preferred side on the moneyline.
Park has struggled throughout the season, carrying a 6.10 ERA and 1.56 WHIP into this matchup. His recent form has been even more concerning, with 18 earned runs allowed over his last three outings. He has been unable to find consistency, creating a difficult situation against the Giants.
Hanwha’s pitching problems extend beyond Park. The Eagles have endured a disappointing season at 49-65-3, while their staff owns a 5.21 team ERA. Kim gives Lotte the much steadier option on the mound. He enters with a 3.75 ERA and has allowed three or fewer earned runs in six of his last eight starts.

Lotte has the clear starting pitching advantage, with Kim in solid form and Park coming off a brutal stretch of 18 earned runs in three starts. The Giants are the better side to win outright at home for one of the best KBO picks today.
