Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 16
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
SSG Landers vs. Lotte Giants: Landers (-125)
The SSG Landers have a significant pitching advantage over the Lotte Giants, making the -125 moneyline one of the best KBO bets today. Pedro Avila has been dominant this season and should be able to keep Lotte’s struggling offense in check.
Avila has been outstanding through 10 starts, posting a remarkable 1.41 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. He has also recorded six scoreless outings, showing just how difficult he has been to hit when at his best. His track record against Lotte adds even more confidence, as he is 2-0 with a 2.25 ERA against the Giants this season.
SSG's Pedro Avila went 6 innings, 3 hits, 1 run, with 6K's to help the Landers beat Hanwha 4-3 https://t.co/HpzzSZ2bpB

The matchup on the other side heavily favors SSG. Jeremy Beasley enters with a 5.15 ERA and 1.44 WHIP across 24 games and has surrendered 26 earned runs over his last five outings. His struggles against the Landers are particularly concerning, with Beasley carrying a 7.80 ERA against SSG.
Lotte also ranks second-last in the KBO with only 98 home runs and 555 RBIs, leaving little margin for error against an in-form pitcher like Avila. So, at -125, the Landers are one of the best KBO picks on Wednesday.
KT Wiz vs. Hanwha Eagles: Wiz (+105)
The KT Wiz are one of the best KBO picks today, especially with the value available at +105 against the Hanwha Eagles. KT is riding a seven-game winning streak after dominating Hanwha 13-3, and Bae Je-seong gives the Wiz a strong chance to keep rolling.
KT's Bae Je-seong pitched 6 scoreless innings, giving up 3 runs, with 8K's to help the Wiz rout Lotte 16-3 https://t.co/2YK6EMBaRe

Bae has been in excellent form this season, posting a 3.31 ERA and 1.47 WHIP. He has been particularly dominant lately, allowing no runs over his last 12 innings and pitching five scoreless outings in his last six starts. That recent stretch makes him an appealing underdog option against a veteran like Ryu Hyun-jin.
Ryu owns a 3.80 ERA overall, but has struggled more against KT, carrying a 4.43 ERA against the Wiz this season. Coming off a 13-run offensive explosion, KT should have the confidence and momentum to pressure him again.
With Bae pitching at an elite level and KT entering on a seven-game winning streak, the Wiz are offering too much value as an underdog.
