Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 18
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Kiwoom Heroes vs, Doosan Bears: Bears (-150)
The Doosan Bears are in a favorable spot against the Kiwoom Heroes, making the -150 moneyline one of the best KBO bets today. Doosan has the stronger pitching matchup and should have enough offense to take care of the league’s worst team.
Zach Logue gets the start for the Bears and has been solid throughout the season, posting a 4.10 ERA and 1.28 WHIP across 26 games. He has also been in good form lately, allowing three or fewer runs in five of his last seven outings. That consistency should give Doosan a strong foundation in this matchup.
Kiwoom remains at the bottom of the KBO and has struggled across every major offensive category, ranking last in batting average, home runs and RBIs. That makes it difficult to trust the Heroes against a pitcher who has been keeping opponents under control recently.

Raul Alcantara has a respectable 3.68 ERA for Kiwoom, but his recent form is a concern after allowing seven earned runs over his last three outings. Doosan should be able to take advantage, particularly with Logue providing the pitching edge.
Logue’s recent consistency and Kiwoom’s league-worst offense give Doosan the advantage in this matchup for one of the top KBO picks.
Samsung Lions vs. Hanwha Eagles: Lions -1.5 (-165)
The Samsung Lions have a significant advantage over the Hanwha Eagles, making the -1.5 runline worth backing at -165. Samsung has the superior starter and a major offensive edge, while Hanwha’s pitching staff has struggled to keep games under control.
Ariel Jurado has been one of the Lions’ most reliable starters in 2026, carrying a 3.26 ERA and 1.28 WHIP. He has also been particularly effective against Hanwha, posting a 2.37 ERA against the Eagles this season. That matchup success gives Samsung an excellent chance to establish control early.

Hanwha counters with Park Jun-yeong, who owns a 6.13 ERA and 1.52 WHIP. His recent form has been even worse, allowing at least four earned runs in four of his last five starts and 25 runs during that stretch. Park has also struggled against Samsung, posting a 7.11 ERA against the Lions this season.
Hanwha’s overall 5.20 team ERA creates another advantage for Samsung’s lineup. The Lions rank second in the KBO with a .278 batting average and 699 RBIs, giving them plenty of firepower to keep scoring even after Park exits.
