Happy Gilmore 2 is scheduled for release on July 25, 2025, and it will be released on Netflix.

Sandler’s movies also do very well on Netflix. Murder Mystery is 19^th all-time in Netflix streaming hours, and the sequel was top-10 in 90 countries around the world when it was released in March 2023. It is a very lucrative relationship between Netflix and Sandler.

It is reported that Sandler made $250 million for his first four-picture deal in 2014, then it was renewed in 2017, and again in 2020. By that timeline, it must be almost time for a new contract for the “Sandman”.

All three of these actors were in the original Happy Gilmore, but sadly, they’re no longer with us. I was leaning towards Carl Weathers as Chubb, Happy’s caddy, to appear first at -200.
