Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), May 6
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Doosan Bears vs. LG Twins: Over 9 (-125)
This matchup points toward a high-scoring game, with both starting pitchers struggling to find consistency and allowing plenty of traffic on the bases.
Doosan sends Choi Seung-yong to the mound, and he’s had a tough time this season. He enters with a 4.85 ERA and 1.52 WHIP across nearly 30 innings, already giving up 33 hits. His recent track record doesn’t inspire confidence either, posting ERAs of 6.00 and 4.41 over the past two seasons. He’s been prone to allowing contact and extended innings.

LG counters with Im Chan-kyu, who has also struggled. He owns a 5.58 ERA and 1.86 WHIP and has been hit hard lately, surrendering 11 earned runs over his last three starts. His inability to limit baserunners puts him at risk against a capable Doosan lineup.
With both starters showing clear vulnerabilities and neither bullpen necessarily positioned to shut things down fully, this game has strong potential for runs on both sides. Back the over 9 as one of the top KBO bets today.
Kiwoom Heroes vs. Samsung Lions: Lions -1.5 (-125)
The Samsung Lions are in a strong position to deliver another comfortable win after their dominant 11-1 victory in the previous matchup. This remains a favorable spot against a Kiwoom team that continues to struggle across the board.
Kiwoom’s offense has been one of the weakest in the KBO, ranking last with a .236 batting average, limited power, and minimal run production. At 12-20 and losing four of their last five, they’ve shown little ability to generate momentum or consistent scoring.

Choi Won-tae hasn’t been at his absolute best for Samsung, but this is an ideal matchup for him to settle in. Facing a lineup that struggles to produce runs should allow him to work effectively and limit damage.
While Bae Dong-hyun has put together a respectable season for Kiwoom, the lack of offensive support remains a major issue. Even a solid outing may not be enough if the Heroes can’t generate runs.
With the better lineup and a favorable matchup against a struggling opponent, Samsung should control this game. So, the Lions on the runline is one of the best KBO picks today.
