Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), May 7
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Hanwha Eagles vs. KIA Tigers: Tigers (-145)
The KIA Tigers look like a strong moneyline play in this matchup, with a clear advantage on the mound and a favorable history against the opposing starter.
Yang Hyeon-jong gets the nod for KIA and has been solid this season, posting a 3.99 ERA and 1.33 WHIP across 29.1 innings. While not dominant, he’s a dependable veteran who can keep the game under control and give his team a chance to win.
Hanwha turns to Jeong Woo-joo, who has struggled significantly. He enters with a 6.75 ERA and 2.25 WHIP, showing major issues with command and run prevention. His struggles have been even more pronounced against KIA, including a rough outing where he allowed three earned runs in just one inning.

With Jeong allowing plenty of baserunners and KIA holding the edge in starting pitching, the Tigers are well-positioned to generate offense and take control of this game.
Back KIA on the moneyline as one of the best KBO bets today.
Kiwoom Heroes vs. Samsung Lions: Lions -1.5 (-145)
The Samsung Lions are in a strong position to turn a close win into a more decisive result in this matchup. After a 2-1 victory last time out, the overall edge still clearly favors Samsung, especially over a struggling Kiwoom squad.
Kiwoom’s biggest issue is pitching depth. Starter Park Jeong-hun has a respectable 2.70 ERA, but his 1.65 WHIP shows he’s constantly pitching in traffic. More importantly, he hasn’t been stretched out, failing to go beyond two innings this season. That means heavy reliance on a pitching staff that owns a 5.05 team ERA, one of the worst in the league.

Samsung counters with Won Tae-in, who has been steady. He enters with a 4.43 ERA and 1.23 WHIP and has limited damage well, allowing three or fewer earned runs in three of four starts. Against a weak Kiwoom offense, that should be more than enough.
Offensively, the Heroes remain near the bottom of the KBO, hitting just .232 with limited production. So, consider the Lions on the runline as one of the top KBO picks today.
