Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), June 13
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Hanwha Eagles vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Eagles (-120)
The Eagles are in a strong bounce-back spot after letting a late lead slip away, and the matchup still heavily favors Hanwha.
Kiwoom may be coming off a dramatic victory, but the larger picture remains unchanged. The Heroes sit at the bottom of the KBO standings and rank last in several key offensive categories, including batting average, home runs, and RBIs. Generating consistent offense has been a season-long problem.
Park Jun-young has been a reliable option for Hanwha, allowing three or fewer earned runs in all six of his appearances. He doesn’t need to be dominant in this matchup. Park simply needs to keep the Heroes’ struggling lineup in check.
Hanwha’s offense gives him plenty of support. The Eagles lead the KBO with 68 home runs and 356 RBIs, making them one of the league’s most dangerous lineups from top to bottom.
Kiwoom counters with Raul Alcantara, who has put together a respectable season overall but has not fared nearly as well against Hanwha. Alcantara owns a 5.06 ERA versus the Eagles this year, suggesting their hitters have been able to solve him more effectively than most opponents.
With a substantial offensive advantage and a favorable matchup against a last-place club, Hanwha is one of the best KBO bets today.
SSG Landers vs. Samsung Lions: Lions -1.5 (-110)
The Samsung Lions have a strong edge in this matchup thanks to a significant advantage on the mound.
Ariel Jurado has been one of the KBO’s most reliable starters this season, posting a 2.61 ERA and 1.10 WHIP through 70.2 innings. His consistency has been remarkable, allowing two or fewer earned runs in eight of his last 10 starts. He has also dominated SSG this year, carrying a microscopic 0.64 ERA against the Landers.

The Landers counter with Anthony Veneziano, who has struggled to find consistency. Veneziano enters with a 5.13 ERA and 1.51 WHIP and has allowed seven earned runs across his last two outings. His track record against Samsung is also concerning, as he owns a 6.00 ERA in the matchup this season.
The contrast between the two starters is difficult to ignore. Jurado has consistently worked deep into games and limited scoring opportunities, while Veneziano has been vulnerable both recently and against this opponent.
If Jurado continues his current form, Samsung should be in position to control the game from the outset. With the Lions holding the clear pitching advantage, they have a strong chance to create enough separation to cover the runline.
