Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), June 26
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Hanwha Eagles vs. SSG Landers: Eagles (-115)
The Eagles offer solid value as a modest favorite, thanks to a favorable pitching matchup and one of the most productive offenses in the KBO.
Wang Yan-cheng has quietly been one of Hanwha’s most dependable starters this season. He enters with a 3.74 ERA and has allowed three or fewer earned runs in 13 of his 15 starts, giving the Eagles a reliable arm capable of keeping them in control throughout the game. He also posted a 3.38 ERA in his previous outing against SSG, further supporting the matchup.

The Landers counter with Thomas Hatch, who has struggled badly in his introduction to KBO action. Hatch owns a 6.30 ERA and 1.80 WHIP through his first 10 innings and was tagged for seven earned runs in his debut appearance. His numbers are confirmed by recent KBO statistics.
Run support should favor Hanwha as well. The Eagles have been one of the league’s most dangerous lineups, ranking near the top of the KBO in both home runs and RBIs. Against a pitcher still trying to adjust to the league, Hanwha’s offense is well-positioned to generate scoring opportunities early.
The combination of Wang’s consistency, Hatch’s struggles, and the Eagles’ superior offensive profile gives Hanwha a clear edge in this matchup.
KIA Tigers vs. Doosan Bears: Bears (-145)
The Bears are in a strong position to take this matchup behind one of the KBO’s most reliable starters and a favorable pitching edge.
Gwak Been has been outstanding this season, carrying a 3.12 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through 78 innings. He has been especially dominant recently, allowing one earned run in four of his last five starts. Gwak’s strong form is backed by his standing among the league’s top strikeout pitchers and continued effectiveness throughout 2026.

The matchup also favors Gwak based on his history against KIA. He owns a 1.50 ERA and 0.83 WHIP against the Tigers this season, consistently limiting hard contact and scoring opportunities.
KIA turns to Hwang Dong-ha, who enters with a 4.14 ERA and has struggled against Doosan. His 5.87 ERA versus the Bears suggests this lineup has seen him well, and that could be an issue again if Doosan generates early traffic on the bases.
The difference between the two starters is significant. Gwak has pitched like an ace and is coming in with excellent recent form, while Hwang has been more vulnerable, particularly in this matchup. If Gwak continues his recent run, the Bears should have the advantage throughout the game.
