Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), July 1
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Samsung Lions vs. NC Dinos: Lions -1.5 (-130)
The Lions are in a favorable position to cover the runline with one of the KBO’s top pitchers taking the mound and a decisive edge in the starting pitching matchup.
Ariel Jurado has been one of Samsung’s biggest strengths this season, posting a 2.95 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. His consistency has been impressive, allowing two or fewer earned runs in eight of his last 10 starts while routinely working deep into games.

The Dinos counter with Toda Natsuki, who has struggled to find consistency throughout the season. Natsuki enters with a 4.52 ERA and 1.44 WHIP, and his recent form is concerning after allowing 12 earned runs over his last four starts. He has also had major issues against Samsung, posting an 8.10 ERA in two meetings this season.
That pitching disparity gives the Lions a significant advantage from the outset. Jurado has consistently limited scoring opportunities, while Natsuki has been vulnerable against this lineup and has struggled to put together quality outings.
With Jurado anchoring the rotation and Natsuki’s recent struggles continuing, Samsung has a strong opportunity to control the game and create enough separation to cover the runline as one of the best KBO bets today.
Lotte Giants vs. Doosan Bears: Bears (-135)
The Bears are in a good position to complete the series sweep after shutting out the Giants 5-0 in the previous meeting. With another favorable pitching matchup, Doosan has the edge to make it back-to-back victories.
Wes Benjamin has been one of the KBO’s most dependable starters this season, posting a 2.90 ERA and 1.32 WHIP through 68.1 innings. He’s been remarkably consistent, allowing two or fewer earned runs in six of his last eight starts while giving Doosan a strong chance to win nearly every time he takes the mound.

Lotte turns to Elvin Rodriguez, who enters with a 4.82 ERA and 1.39 WHIP. While Rodriguez has flashed quality stuff at times, he has been far less reliable than Benjamin and faces a difficult assignment against a Doosan club carrying momentum from Tuesday’s shutout.
The Giants’ offense remains a major concern. They rank second-last in the KBO with a .257 team batting average and have struggled to generate consistent scoring, a difficult trend to reverse against a pitcher of Benjamin’s caliber.
With Benjamin providing a clear advantage on the mound and Lotte continuing to battle offensive inconsistency, Doosan has the stronger overall profile heading into this matchup for a win on the moneyline.
