Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), July 22
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:
Hanwha Eagles vs. KIA Tigers: Under 8.5 (-125)
This matchup has all the ingredients of a classic pitchers’ duel, with two of the KBO’s top starters taking the mound. Owen White and Adam Oller have been among the league’s most consistent arms, making the under an attractive play.
Owen White enters with a 3.09 ERA and 1.19 WHIP and has been dominant in recent outings. He has thrown three scoreless starts in his last four appearances and has been especially effective against KIA this season, posting a stellar 1.29 ERA in the matchup.
The Tigers counter with Adam Oller, who has enjoyed another outstanding campaign. Oller owns a 2.52 ERA and 1.01 WHIP through 17 starts and has allowed one earned run or fewer in three of his last four outings. His ability to limit baserunners and work deep into games has made him one of the KBO’s premier pitchers.

With both starters in excellent form, scoring opportunities should be limited throughout the game. White has consistently shut down KIA’s lineup, while Oller continues to string together quality starts, setting the stage for a low-scoring contest for one of the best KBO bets today.
Doosan Bears vs. KT Wiz: Wiz (+105)
The Wiz offer strong value as home underdogs in what projects to be one of the more competitive games on the KBO slate. While Doosan sends an ace to the mound, KT has the offensive firepower to support Logan Allen and pull off the upset.
Logan Allen has settled in nicely since arriving in the KBO, posting a 3.33 ERA and 1.37 WHIP through his first five starts. He has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four of those outings, giving the Wiz a reliable presence on the mound. Recent matchup previews also note his strong early performances and success against Doosan.
Doosan counters with Gwak Been, who has been one of the KBO’s top pitchers with an ERA below 3.00 this season. However, KT possesses the league’s best offense, leading the KBO with a .281 team batting average. That lineup gives the Wiz a legitimate chance to challenge even an elite starter.
Although Been gives the Bears a pitching edge on paper, KT’s consistent run production helps offset that advantage. If Logan Allen continues the steady form he has shown since joining the rotation, the Wiz have enough offensive depth to capitalize on scoring opportunities and come away with a win.
