Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), July 28

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

Lotte Giants vs. Hanwha Eagles: Eagles -1.5 (-110)

The Eagles have a significant edge in this matchup, with advantages on both the mound and at the plate. Behind ace Owen White and one of the KBO’s most productive offenses, Hanwha is in a spot to pull away and cover the runline.

White continues to pitch like one of the league’s top starters, entering with a 2.92 ERA and 1.16 WHIP. He has been dominant in recent outings, allowing one earned run or fewer in four of his last five starts while consistently giving Hanwha quality innings.

The Giants counter with Park Se-woong, who has struggled to find consistency this season. He owns a 4.87 ERA and 1.48 WHIP and has surrendered 12 earned runs over his last three starts. Against a lineup as dangerous as Hanwha’s, Park faces another difficult assignment.

The offensive matchup heavily favors the Eagles. Hanwha ranks second in the KBO with a .278 team batting average while leading the league with 108 home runs and 522 RBIs. Lotte, meanwhile, sits near the bottom of the standings offensively with a .260 batting average and just 393 RBIs, making it difficult to keep pace if White delivers another strong performance.

With a dominant pitching advantage and one of the league’s best offenses backing him, White should put Hanwha in position for one of the best KBO bets today.

The Bet
Hanwha Eagles -1.5

-110

Kiwoom Heroes vs. LG Twins: Twins -1.5 (-165)

The Twins have a significant advantage in this matchup and are positioned for a comfortable win behind Anders Tolhurst. With LG facing the KBO’s weakest offense and a struggling opposing starter, the runline offers strong value.

Tolhurst has been steady for the Twins this season, entering with a 4.21 ERA. While the numbers are not elite, he draws one of the most favorable matchups possible against a Kiwoom lineup that has struggled all year.

The Heroes rank last in the KBO offensively, hitting just .239 as a team with only 66 home runs and 337 RBIs. Their inability to consistently generate runs has made it difficult to compete against stronger teams, especially when facing capable starting pitching.

Kiwoom sends Jhun Jun-pyo to the mound, and he has struggled badly this season. He enters with a 9.35 ERA and a 2.56 WHIP across 10 appearances, allowing too many baserunners and creating constant pressure on the defense behind him.

With LG holding the pitching advantage and facing a lineup that ranks at the bottom of nearly every offensive category, the Twins should have plenty of opportunities to build an early lead.

If Tolhurst delivers a quality outing, LG’s offense should have enough firepower to create separation.

The Bet
LG Twins -1.5
Lucky Rebel
-165
