KIA Tigers vs. Samsung Lions: Lions (-155)
The Lions have a clear edge in this matchup thanks to the stronger starting pitcher and the better recent form on the mound. With Yang Chang-seop continuing his impressive season and KIA’s starter struggling to find consistency, Samsung is in a strong position to come away with the win.
Yang has been one of Samsung’s most reliable starters, compiling a 3.73 ERA while remaining a perfect 8-0 on the season. He enters this matchup in excellent form, allowing two earned runs or fewer in each of his last five starts. His consistency has helped keep the Lions in control throughout the second half of the campaign.
The Tigers counter with Keisho Shirakawa, who has endured another difficult season. Shirakawa owns a 5.77 ERA and 1.66 WHIP through 34.1 innings and has surrendered 12 earned runs over his last three outings. After posting a 5.65 ERA during his previous KBO stint, he has continued to struggle against opposing lineups.

Kiwoom Heroes vs. LG Twins: Twins -1.5 (-155)
The Twins are in an excellent position to bounce back and should have little trouble creating separation against the last-place Heroes. With Lachlan Wells taking the mound against the KBO’s weakest offense, LG has the clear advantage on the runline.
Lachlan Wells enters with a strong 3.67 ERA and 1.17 WHIP, continuing another dependable season for the Twins. While he was tagged for six runs in his last outing, this matchup provides an ideal opportunity to rebound against a lineup that has struggled to generate offense all year.

Kiwoom remains the least productive offense in the KBO, batting just .239 as a team while ranking last with 67 home runs and only 340 RBIs. The Heroes have consistently struggled to string together quality at-bats, making this a favorable spot for Wells to return to form.
The overall matchup strongly favors LG. Wells has been one of the Twins’ most reliable starters throughout the season, and with the Heroes offering little offensive resistance, the Twins should be able to control the game from the opening innings.
