Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 12

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

LG Twins vs. Samsung Lions: Lions (-155)

Samsung has a clear edge in this heavyweight matchup with LG, and the -155 moneyline is worth backing. Ariel Jurado gives the Lions the pitching advantage at home, while their offense should be able to pressure Anders Tolhurst.

Jurado has been excellent this season, carrying a 3.28 ERA and 6-1 record. That consistency gives Samsung a strong foundation against an LG team that will need Tolhurst to deliver a much better road performance. Tolhurst owns a 4.22 ERA and 1.24 WHIP overall, but he has struggled away from home, allowing 27 runs across his last five road starts.

That is a particularly difficult matchup against a Samsung offense that ranks second in the KBO with a .278 batting average and 684 RBIs. The Lions have the firepower to take advantage of Tolhurst’s recent road struggles and give Jurado plenty of run support.

This is a big showdown between two of the KBO’s top teams, but Samsung’s home-field advantage, stronger pitching matchup and offensive production make the Lions the side to trust in this matchup.

KIA Tigers vs. KT Wiz: Wiz (-120)

The KT Wiz have the pitching and offensive edge in this series opener against the KIA Tigers, making the -120 moneyline an appealing play. Coming off a strong series against the Lotte Giants, KT should carry that momentum into this matchup.

Davis Daniel gets the start for the Wiz and has been solid in his first five outings, posting a 2.88 ERA and 1.36 WHIP. He has allowed two or fewer earned runs in four of those five starts and has yet to surrender more than three earned runs in any appearance. That consistency should give KT a strong foundation against KIA.

James Naile counters for the Tigers with a 3.66 ERA, but he has struggled against the Wiz, carrying a 4.91 ERA in three starts against KT. That is a difficult matchup against a lineup that leads the KBO with a .280 team batting average.

With Daniel pitching effectively and KT’s offense continuing to produce at an elite level, the Wiz have the ingredients to control this game from the start. I suggest riding with the Wiz as one of the best KBO picks today.
