Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 17

There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we came to a conclusion for each one of our KBO picks today:

SSG Landers vs. NC Dinos: Dinos -1.5 (-120)

The NC Dinos have a major pitching advantage over the SSG Landers, making the -1.5 runline one of the best KBO bets today. Riley Thompson has been dominant and should put NC in position to win comfortably against a struggling SSG lineup.

Thompson enters with a stellar 2.67 ERA and 1.00 WHIP across 19 games. He has been particularly sharp lately, allowing two or fewer earned runs in eight consecutive appearances. That consistency should continue against an SSG offense that ranks second-last in the KBO with a .258 team batting average.

The matchup on the other side is far more favorable for the Dinos’ lineup. Lee Ro-un owns a 5.96 ERA and 1.54 WHIP across 51.1 innings, and his struggles against NC are especially concerning. He has posted an ugly 13.50 ERA in three appearances against the Dinos this season.

With Thompson consistently limiting opposing offenses and Lee struggling badly against NC, the Dinos have the pitching edge needed to create separation. The Dinos are one of the best KBO picks on the runline.

The Bet
NC Dinos -1.5

-120

Kiwoom Heroes vs. KIA Tigers: Tigers (-165)

The KIA Tigers offer value at -165 against the Kiwoom Heroes, with Adam Oller in position to dominate this matchup at home. Kiwoom remains at the bottom of the KBO with a 45-83-3 record and has struggled badly at the plate all season.

The Heroes rank last in the league with a .242 team batting average, along with just 93 home runs and 469 RBIs. That is a favorable matchup for Oller, who has been one of the KBO’s most effective starters in 2026. He owns a 2.91 ERA and 1.02 WHIP across 25 games and enters this start in excellent form.

Oller has allowed one run or fewer in five of his last six starts and has surrendered no more than two runs in each of those outings. His dominance against Kiwoom has been even more impressive, as he owns a 1.50 ERA against the Heroes this season.

An Woo-jin counters for Kiwoom with a respectable 3.88 ERA, but he has yet to face the Tigers this season. With Oller pitching at an elite level and Kiwoom’s offense struggling to generate runs, KIA has the clear edge.

KIA Tigers
Lucky Rebel
-165
