The Amazing Race odds for the 37th season of this CBS show predicted a close race ahead of the premiere on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, and that has been the case! 14 teams are in a wild race around the world, from Los Angeles, back to Miami, with locations like Japan, Bulgaria, France, and Portugal in between. But which team will win the $1 million grand prize?

The Amazing Race 37 Odds and Prediction (Updated After Each Episode)
TEAM | ODDS |
---|---|
Carson McCalley and Jack Dodge | -500 |
Jonathan and Ana Towns | +300 |
Alyssa and Josiah Borden | +350 |
Han and Holden Nyugen | +880 |
The Amazing Race odds favored Brett and Mark heading into Episode 10, but the married couple failed to make it to the mat in time! We have a new favorite at entertainment betting sites, as Carson and Jack (-500) are now leading in a strong position. After three shaky legs, the gamer friends won the tenth leg and now have an implied win probability of 83.3% with just four teams remaining!
Jonathan and Ana (+300) are next, followed closely by another married couple, Alyssa and Josiah (+350). These two teams have implied win chances of 25% and 22.2%, respectively, and they’ll need Carson and Jack to stumble heading into the last two legs.
Han and Holden (+880) are last with an implied chance to win of 10.2%, and it would be a shock if the bickering siblings overcame The Amazing Race odds and won it all!
The teams will head from France to Portugal, and then Portugal to Miami, over two episodes next week to wrap up the season. These episodes will air on May 14 and 15, so I’ll recap those episodes on May 16!

The Amazing Race Recap – Episode 10
The ninth leg saw the five teams fly from Sofia, Bulgaria, to Naples, Italy, where they had to taxi to Castel The five teams flew from Naples, Italy, to Frankfurt, Germany, where they would then take a train to Strasbourg, France. Their first task was to drive to the Palace of Europe and name the four Council of Europe countries they’ve seen along their travels (Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, France). Brett and Mark got lost on their way there, which put them in trouble early.
Next was a meeting at Pont Couverts, where the teams went head-to-head in water jousting. Han squared off with Carson first, and Han won, sending her and Holden to La Cloche a Fromage for a cheese-identification task. Carson then knocked Jonathan in the water, sending Amazing Race Twitter into a frenzy.
Jonathan won over Josiah, who then beat Mark, which meant he and Brett had to serve a ten-minute penalty for being the last team. At the cheese task, Alyssa wanted to use their Express Pass, but Josiah was indecisive, and the two struggled to get correct answers as they had to pick out nine cheeses blindly.
Alyssa and Josiah waited for all teams, except Mark and Brett, to use the Express Pass. Next, the teams had to climb over 300 stairs to the top of Cathedral Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. They received a clue to head to the Detour, which was For the Birds (constructing a giant bird’s nest), or Out to Dry (hand-washing dirty clothes).
The last two teams picked For the Birds, while the others chose Out to Dry. On the way there, Jonathan was a real piece of work to Ana on the drive there, belittling her driving and navigational skills, among other things.
Carson and Jack got to the Pit Stop at the Table D’Orientation first, and they won a trip to Helsinki, Finland. Brett and Mark tried to follow Alyssa and Josiah to the Pit Stop and got lost again.
Alyssa and Josiah got to the mat, where they thought they were eliminated, but they burst into tears when they found out they were the second team. Jonathan and Ana were third, followed by Holden and Han. Brett and Mark got to the end of the road and were eliminated.
The Amazing Race Season 37 Contestants and Prediction
Here is the list of The Amazing Race Season 37 teams and their relationships to each other! I’ll update the list as teams are eliminated.
TEAM | AGE | RELATIONSHIP | HOMETOWN |
---|---|---|---|
Alyssa Borden Josiah Borden | 31 32 | Married, Nurse Anesthetists | Philadelphia, PA |
Carson McCalley Jack Dodge | 28 27 | Friends, Gamers | Brooklyn, NY |
Han Nguyen Holden Nyugen | 26 22 | Siblings | Los Gatos, CA |
Jonathan Towns Ana Towns | 42 35 | Married | Pomona, CA |
I’m torn between Carson and Jack, and Josiah and Alyssa. Jonathan and Ana are a strong team, but they fight far too much and waste time, and the same goes for Han and Holden.
Carson and Jack finished first, although it’s not certain that they’ll start with a lead going into the two-part finale. Furthermore, their Amazing Race odds don’t offer a good return.
So, I’m leaning into Alyssa and Josiah with my Amazing Race prediction! They believe in each other, and that mindset could power them to a Season 37 win! Let’s take Alyssa and Josiah at +350 in our Amazing Race predictions at BetOnline!
