After a strong showing at the Golden Globes, One Battle After Another is now among the betting favorites to clean up at the 2026 BAFTAs. The film leads all nominees with 14 nods, including a nomination for Best Film.

Currently, One Battle After Another is favored to win the top honor, according to top entertainment betting sites. Is that the right BAFTA pick to win Best Film, though, and will it win any of the other major categories? You can find my best BAFTA betting picks with a full analysis below.

BAFTA 2026 Best Film Odds and Prediction

FILM ODDS
One Battle After Another -350
Hamnet +150
Sinners +1600
Sentimental Value +2500
Marty Supreme +3500

One Battle After Another and Hamnet are expected to duel for Best Film at the BAFTAs, and the odds suggest there isn’t much competition beyond these two. However, One Battle After Another has pulled ahead recently, moving from -170 to -350 in the last week.

This represents an implied shift from 63% to 77.8% in favor of One Battler After Another. Hamnet remains in contention with +150 odds, or a 40% implied chance.

The way I see it, Hamnet’s true price should be in the +275 range. Still in the running, but One Battle After Another sits well ahead of the field.

Sinners has fallen well out of contention, with only a 5.9% implied chane at +1600 odds. In other words, fans of Sinners, Sentimental Value, and Marty Supreme shouldn’t hold their breath.

Given its track record, One Battle After Another arguably deserved to be a stronger favorite than -170 for Best Film. At -350, this is more accurate, but the price will likely grow -500 by the ceremony.

It has dominated the awards circuit so far, and I expect that momentum to carry into the BAFTAs. Leonardo DiCaprio’s dark comedy action thriller already won Best Motion Picture at the Golden Globes.

On top of that, One Battle After Another took home Best Feature at the Gotham Awards and the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Picture. In short, it has won every time it’s been nominated at major award shows.
Expect another big win for One Battle After Another at the BAFTAs. At -350, the odds for Best Film is getting a tad too high, but given its strong resume to win, I suggest including this select as one of your best BAFTAs betting picks.

BAFTA 2026 Best Leading Actor Odds and Prediction

ACTOR ODDS
Timothy Chalamet – Marty Supreme -800
Robert Aramayo – I Swear +500
Leonardo DiCaprio – One Battle After Another +1000
Ethan Hawke – Blue Moon +1500
Michael B. Jordan – Sinners +2500
Jesse Plemons – Bugonia +3500

Timothy Chalamet is a heavy betting favorite to win Best Leading Actor at the BAFTAs and his price has continued to grow in recent days. With his odds at -800, he isn’t facing much pressure from other actors in this category. This is a considerable jump from Chalamet’s -400 odds in late January, which signifies an improvement from 80% to 88.9%.

Leonardo DiCaprio has the next shortest odds, but I don’t view him as a threat. One After Another is a fantastic film, but DiCaprio’s performance hasn’t exactly received rave reviews. Chalamet, on the other hand, has been in the limelight for his portrayal of table tennis player Marty Mauser.

After taking home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Male Actor, it’s clear that he is preparing to win more hardware in the coming weeks. I believe it’s setting Chalamet up for a run straight to the Academy Awards to win an Oscar for his work on the film.

The hype is real on Chalamet as well. He deservedly won the Golden Globe and should have enough votes to win a BAFTA, too. Although -800 odds for this 2026 BAFTA prediction doesn’t provide much value, there isn’t much competition for him.

So, in review, Chalamet is the best bet for Best Leading Actor at the BAFTAs.

BAFTA 2026 Best Casting Odds and Prediction

FILM ODDS
Sinners EVEN
I Swear +250
One Battle After Another +350
Marty Supreme +800
Sentimental Value +900

Sinners for Best Casting at even odds stands out as one of the best value picks on the board. At this price, it’s tough to leave this wager off my shortlist of top BAFTA bets.

Based on the latest BAFTA 2026 betting odds, Sinners carries an implied 50% chance to win this award. I see its true probability as slightly higher, which creates a meaningful edge at +100.

I don’t expect Sinners to leave the BAFTAs empty-handed. This is one of the most realistic categories for Ryan Coogler’s film to convert, and the market is still offering a fair number at even money.

The casting work is a major strength of the film. Michael B. Jordan pulls double duty as twins Elijah Moore and Elias Moore, but the supporting ensemble really rounds things out. Delroy Lindo as Delta Sim is an especially inspired choice.

Lindo has been recognized with a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Academy Awards. Whether or not he wins, the nod is more than justified. Hailee Steinfeld and Miles Caton are also well-cast, and the same can be said of the broader ensemble.

With that level of casting quality and a price that still implies only a coin flip, backing Sinners for Best Casting at even money is a bet well worth considering among your BAFTA predictions.

BAFTA 2026 Best Leading Actress Odds and Prediction

ACTRESS ODDS
Jessie Buckley – Hamnet -10000
Rose Byrne – If I Had Legs I’d Kick You +1200
Kate Hudson – Song Sung Blue +2000
Renate Reinsve – Sentimental Value +2500
Emma Stone – Bugonia +2500
Carey Mulligan – The Ballad of Wallis Island +3000

I wouldn’t consider Chalamet an absolute lock to win Best Leading Actor. There’s a small element of doubt there. When it comes to Hamnet’s Jessie Buckley, though, we’re entering near-lock territory. At -5000 to win Best Leading Actress at the BAFTAs, Buckley has a staggering implied probability of 99%, which is up from 98.04% at -5000 odds last month.

Technically, there’s still that 1% chance she doesn’t win according to the odds, but I’m convinced this race is essentially over. Her portrayal of Agnes Shakespeare is fantastic and completely steals the film. Without Buckley’s performance, Hamnet simply isn’t generating this level of awards-season buzz.

She’s also a major reason why Hamnet is a serious Best Film contender at both the BAFTAs and the Oscars. The 36-year-old Irish actress has already been busy on the awards circuit this year, having captured the Golden Globe for Best Female Actor, and I believe the best is still to come.

From a betting perspective, there’s zero value in backing Buckley at -5000, so my recommendation is to pass on this market. However, if you’re filling out a BAFTA contest with friends, make sure Jessie Buckley is your pick for Best Leading Actress.

BAFTA 2026 Best Supporting Actor Odds and Prediction

ACTOR ODDS
Stellan Skarsgård – Sentimental Value -600
Paul Mescal – Hamnet +800
Sean Penn – One Battle After Another +1000
Jacob Elordi – Frankenstein +1200
Benicio del Toro – One Battle After Another +1500
Peter Mullan – I Swear +2500

Stellan Skarsgård looks poised to add to his growing trophy case with a win at the 2026 BAFTAs. Per the latest BAFTAs 2026 betting odds, Skarsgård sits comfortably at -600, translating to roughly an 85.7% implied probability that he captures the top honor for Best Supporting Actor.

Similar to many of the other massive favorites, Skarsgård’s odds have risen. His price has shifted from -400 to -600 for roughly a 6% difference over the last month.

Now 74, the Swedish star is riding serious awards momentum. He recently secured the second Golden Globe of his career, winning the 2026 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor, six years after he earned the 2020 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries.

With that track record and fresh recognition from the Hollywood Foreign Press, Skarsgård enters BAFTA night as the clear frontrunner.

Beyond the strength of his own performance, the shape of the category also plays in his favor. Paul Mescal is respected for his work opposite Jessie Buckley, but Buckley’s turn in Hamnet is so commanding that it tends to dominate the conversation. She is essentially overshadowing everything around her, including Mescal’s supporting work.

In a race where narrative and momentum matter, that dynamic gives Skarsgård an additional edge.

The Bet
Stellan Skarsgård

BAFTA 2026 Best Supporting Actress Odds and Prediction

ACTRESS ODDS
Teyana Taylor – One Battle After Another -150
Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas – Sentimental Value EV
Wunmi Mosaku – Sinners +500
Odsessa A’zion – Marty Supreme +2000
Emily Watson – Hamnet +2500
Carey Mulligan – The Ballad of Wallis Island +3000

Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Teyana Taylor are expected to battle down to the wire for Best Supporting Actress. This is a close call in the BAFTA betting markets between Ibsdotter Lilleaas and Taylor.

In what is set to be a tight vote, I suggest backing Taylor at -150 odds. I bet on Taylor as a small underdog at +120 in January, but she has since overtaken Lilleaas for top honors on the betting board. While DiCaprio didn’t receive huge support from critics in One Battle After Another, Taylor’s performance has been in the spotlight, though.

While she is the supporting actress in the film, Taylor commanded the spotlight and took over as the focal point of One Battle After Another. In addition to strong reviews, she captured the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress.

It’s hard to fade Taylor at this fantastic price, so I recommend backing the 35-year-old to win at -150 odds.
