Sinners and One Battle After Another are locked in a tight race for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. It’s clearly a two-film battle at this point, with the rest of the field far behind. In the betting markets, Sinners leads with a 64.3% implied probability to win, while One Battle After Another sits at 45.5%.

One Battle After Another should continue to pick up wins throughout awards season, but Sinners isn’t leaving the Actor Awards empty-handed. When you look at the cast of Sinners, it’s obvious that director Ryan Coogler got it right.

Michael B. Jordan is outstanding in the film, yet the strength of Sinners goes well beyond its lead. Casting Delroy Lindo as Delta Sim may have been the decisive, award-winning move from Coogler. On top of that, Hailee Steinfeld, Wunmi Mosaku, and Miles Caton all deliver strong performances that round out an exceptional ensemble.

While One Battle After Another also boasts an excellent cast, there’s virtually no weak link in Sinners. With that in mind, Sinners at -180 stands out as one of the best Actor Awards betting picks for 2026.

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

Teyana Taylor is the frontrunner to win Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role. At -220, she enjoys a 68.8% implied probability to win another major award this season.

Taylor won the Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture at the Golden Globes and I don’t believe she is done. I don’t see her as having the best competition in this category, but most of all, Taylor was excellent in her portrayal of Perfidia Beverly Hills.

She stole the spotlight from Leonardo DiCaprio and is running away with the hardware this season. Expect Taylor to continue thriving throughout awards season, capped by a win at the 2026 Actor Awards.

Given her momentum, Taylor probably deserves to be closer to -450 in this market. At -220, there’s still strong value on her to win Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

Timothee Chalamet appears to be in the clear to win Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role. Per the latest Actor Awards 2026 betting odds, Chalamet owns an 80% implied chance to win another big honor.

He’s been in strong form entering the Actor Awards this season. Chalamet won the Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actor. Additionally, he became the youngest actor to receive three Oscar nominations.

Although I was impressed with Jordan in Sinners, he and the rest of the field is a step behind Chalamet here. Also, while Marty Supreme isn’t in contention to win Best Picture, Chalamet will continue to receive awards.

Look for Chalamet to win Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor. I believed he was going to have -1200 odds to win this category. Despite -400 being a fairly large price, it doesn’t represent where he should be. In other words, he’s one of the best Actor Awards betting predictions at -400.

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a TV Series Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

Breakout star 16-year-old Owen Cooper is looking to follow up with another major award after winning a Golden Globe. In the first acting job of his career, Cooper became the first actor to win a major award for his debut role and the youngest Golden Globe winner.

It was impressive for Chalamet to win at 30 years old, never mind Cooper at 16. At the Golden Globes, however, co-star Stephen Graham was in a different category. Graham won for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series.

Now, at the Actor Awards, they’re in the same category and going head-to-head. Movie studios try to avoid this, but it does happen occasionally. Cooper is outstanding, but Graham’s work in Adolescence is more consistent and impressive, in my opinion.

Also the co-creator of Adolescence, Graham shines as Cooper’s father, Eddie Miller. You could argue that Graham and Cooper are leading actors in the Netflix series, but either way, they both did well. At +325, though, Graham is one of the best Actor Awards picks on the board.
