Expert EURO 2024 Picks Today – Our Best Bets with Reasoning

Here are our EURO 2024 best bets of the day for June 22.

Portugal and under 3.5; +125 (Turkey vs. Portugal)

It’s safe to say Turkey did not hesitate to play aggressively against Georgia. Although the Georgians also had a few good chances, even scoring a goal in the process, Turkey’s young stars coupled with a few experienced individuals made all the difference.

However, Turkey now needs to prove itself against Portugal, one of the main favorites of the entire competition. To be honest, Turkey looked much better against Georgia than Portugal did against Czechia. But, we all know Portugal plays best when it matters most, which could very well happen here as well. Roberto Martinez will make sure of that!

Nevertheless, it’s noteworthy to add that Turkey will likely play quite defensively. They have 3 points from the opener and a point here would practically cement their spot in the playoffs. Portugal won’t rush either. That said, I expect a tough match with a lot of tackles in the center of the pitch. One or two goals could be all we see from this one.

So, for that reason, it’s only logical to opt for Portugal to win and total goals under 3.5 at +125. This easily beats the basic moneyline on Cristiano Ronaldo and co.

The Bet
Portugal and under 3.5

Both Teams to Score; -120 (Belgium vs. Romania)

I don’t know what to say about Belgium. I watched the game in shock. Especially the first half. True, in the second half Belgians were the superior team. They ended up scoring twice, only for VAR to dissalow both goals. In the end, they got 0 points from the match and now have to show all of their might against Romania to stay in the competition.

However, Romania looked like one of the best teams in the world in their opener against Ukraine. They pushed through like champs, creating chances at will and running circles around the Ukrainian defense. True, Lunin did help them a bit there…

I expect Belgium to adapt a much more aggressive and to-the-point style of play against Romania. Iordanescu’s men will create their goal-scoring chances in transition and on the counter. The way I see it, both teams could have trouble on the defensive end. So much that I reckon we’ll see both teams score a goal in the first half an hour.

But, I’m going with a slightly less risky bet here. Both teams to score at -120 is a great choice, be it as a single or a part of a parlay.

The Bet
Both teams to score
